Asian Wok Lahore — Restaurant in Lahore Cantonment Tehsil

I had an Iftar Dinner Buffet at @asianwokraya, and it was a disappointing experience.

Despite the elegant ambience, the food and service were terrible.

The Iftar buffet was almost the same as their Hi-Tea menu, yet they charged Rs. 4195 + Tax, an unjustified increase.

I saw this comment on their social media but still gave it a try. Big mistake.

I arrived 20 minutes late, and instead of letting us dine in peace, the staff rushed us to take Iftar items as they were removing them before the stated 8 PM time.

The main course was unimpressive, missing several items from the menu. I didn’t see any sushi.

They were repeatedly asking to clear plates, which was annoying.

By 7:45 PM, the manager insisted on serving tea at our table, as if pushing us to finish quickly.

When I went for dessert, the staff started cleaning up around me, and just before 8 PM, the manager loudly asked if they should clear our table, embarrassing me in front of my guests.

My ice cream melted before I could eat it, and my green tea was taken away before I had a sip.

I paid Rs. 17,620 for four people and completely regretted it.

Despite the reservation being in my name, the staff approached my guests for bill payment, making the situation even more embarrassing.

Is your staff even trained? Is this the level of service and food you charge such prices for?

@monallahore offers far better food, service, and value for money. My brunch experience there was far better.

I’ve been posting my complaint since my visit, but they keep deleting my comments instead of addressing my concerns.

Even influencers promoting their restaurant noticed my complaint and suggested that the Asian Wok team offer necessary compensation.

Complaint Regarding Poor Service at Defence Raya Branch

Dear Asian Wok Management,

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint about my extremely disappointing experience at your Defence Raya branch.

I visited the branch with my family and we had to wait for over an hour without being served. Despite patiently waiting and checking multiple times with the staff, no food was provided. This is completely unacceptable for any restaurant, especially one with a name like Asian Wok.

Not only was our time wasted, but my fuel and energy were also wasted driving there and waiting so long with my family. This kind of service is highly unprofessional and disrespectful to customers.

I request that you look into this matter seriously and ensure that no other customer has to go through such a frustrating experience. A proper explanation and an apology are the least that should be expected.
