Café Aylanto has steadily become one of my favorite go-to spots for fine dining. The ambiance is warm, cozy, and inviting, ideal for long, relaxed conversations. The staff is another highlight: well-trained, professional, and consistently attentive, which elevates the entire dining experience.
Over multiple visits, I’ve explored a variety of dishes, and there are clear standouts—their chicken and beef mains are among the best you’ll find in Lahore. Beef: The Decked Beef (8.4/10) and Prime Tenderloin (8.2/10) are both excellent choices for steak lovers, always cooked to perfection (medium is the sweet spot).
Chicken: As fas as the chicken dishes are concerned they are tender and flavourful. Herb Mushroom Chicken (8.5) and Tarragon Chicken (8.2) are excellent options, while the Parmesan Chicken (8.2) and Cordon Bleu (7.9) hold their own as solid entrees. However the Milanese Chicken (5/10) felt too basic to justify the price.
Pastas and Pizzas: Fettuccine Pasta (7.8) deserves a special mention—rich, creamy, and easily their best pasta. For a twist, try the Fettuccine Truffle Pasta (8/10) with added mushrooms for depth. The Ravioli (8/10) is another pleasant surprise, though the portion size could be more generous. If you're into pizzas, don't miss their Smoked Chicken Pizza (8.5/10) or the indulgent Four Cheese Quattro, both delivering on bold, cheesy flavor.
As for sandwiches and burgers, they’re fairly average, but passable, nothing much to say.
Also haven’t tried their seafood so cannot pass a comment about them.
The Pina Colada (9/10) is a must-try—creamy, refreshing, and consistently well-balanced drink.
However, no review is complete without a few caveats. The starters are the weakest link—ranging from forgettable to outright disappointing. Glazed Wings (6.9/10) are passable at best, while the Cheese Parcels (2/10) are, frankly, a miss. There's clear room for improvement in their appetizer and sandwich/burger game.
And yes, prices are on the steeper side, especially when compared to similar restaurants in town. But if they can iron out the issues with starters and sandwich/burger dishes, they’d be nearly untouchable in Lahore’s fine-dining scene.
In short: for premium beef and entrées with a touch of European flair, this place delivers. Pastas and Pizzas are also...
Read moreLunch with my boys and girls at cafe aylanto raya ….. it was nice and Cousy atmosphere…. Nice food preservation with acceptable taste…. Nothing extra ordinary about it….
In starters we ordered grilled chicken balsamic salad , calamari and vegetable filled boneless chicken wings… Good salad with nice balance of balsamic sauce but in my opinion Islamabad is way ahead than Karachi and Lahore in these kind of salads… brew just do two salads and they are loaded with lot of hi price stuff.. way better in taste and portion sizes are better as well….calamari was ok…. Wings were better than all three starters as there is some kind of newness in recipe … it’s tangy and sweet as well … in my opinion wing size can be little bigger to have better stuffing … but it’s good…..
In main course girls had chicken cordon bleu , Moroccan chicken and chicken jalapeño…. Nice taste and good presentation in all three of them….
Sheru and myself ordered steak… Sheru ordered smoked hickory steak with miso sauce and I ordered decked beef with chitake mushroom and caramelised onions… we were taking about Sheru next project and they didn’t ask temperature and brought medium for us… it was nice steak but again nothing special about it… different boys are doing way better than this….
As an extra meal we ordered baked sole fish and it was nice…. We also order classic beef burger… it was acceptable but there were ligaments in beef petty so nothing special about it.. lot of boys are doing great burgers than this in Lahore….
Afsar and Javeed wanted burgers as they wanna play safe… so we orders smash beef burgers for them… and they were happy ….
Atmosphere 8/10 Choice 8/10 Taste. 6/10 VOM. 7/10 Service. 8/10 Overall...

AYLANTO ADDING FAKE ITEMS ON THE BILL
Had the misfortune of going to aylanto defence Raya yesterday for valentine's dinner. First of all table reservation was for 11000 which was too much to begin with.
Anyways, got their on time but weren't seated for the next 30 mins or so, the waiting staff and the seating assistants were all completely clueless and we're running around like headless chooks.
After an hour of waiting and numerous calls for menus we were finally able to place our order. Which when it came after a further hour was tasteless and cold.
The real trouble started when we asked for the check even when we had paid in advance. Since the mushroom soup was completely inedible we had returned it but when our bill came it was still included in the bill 895 rupees when we pointed it out to the manager he took our card and disappeared for 45 mins. He came back with a new bill even more than the previous one and told us he had removed the soup from the bill but we have used up all of our 11k. At this point I took a look at the new bill and guess what there was a new reservation charge under the existing reservation fee of 895.
The manager went to all the trouble to get a new bill just so he can cheat and he doesn't have to replace or refund the soup.
It's not really about the money but the fact that this is the way they cheat their customers.
SHAME ON THEM AND THE SCAM OF A RESTAURANT THEY OWN.
ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC SERVICE AND TASTE NOT TO MENTION THEFT.
P.s we weren't the only ones complaining of the service and the food all the tables around us were also complaining constantly.
Attaching pictures which I took before the manager tried to...
