Allow me to begin by saying that the entire ordeal was concluded with a more than sympathetic discussion with the owner, so thank you for that. We usually dine at the original location in Gulberg but we wanted to give the new location a try. Having said that, we reserved for 10h00-15 and asked for a good table. We arrived and they didn’t have one and tried to seat us up stairs where it was so cold that the table and cutlery was legit, ice cold. We asked to be seated downstairs and after waiting more than 25-30 min in the middle of the restaurant, we were seated. We ordered and were advised that the restaurant did not have that menu item available, we expressed that we came all the way from Gulberg to try the new location and that is the menu item we want and it’s NYE (seriously 😢)… they said they managed to find some piece of steak and it was a filet mignon to which we advised we weren’t comfortable in trusting that after he made it clear they simply had no more in the restaurant and the manager or assistant manager (the one in the jacket) tried to push to just order it and then even told my friend in Urdu to basically make me just be relaxed and to go along with it and just order something (as if I’m incapable of being spoken to directly 🤦🏻♂️) and I decided to no longer deal with the manager.
It wasn’t about the steak, but about his unwillingness to be straightforward and the fake “ok, sorry, now please just order” when I was trying to have a real exchange with him (it was literally just inappropriate). He then refused to get the owner or provide a contact and finally when I made it clear I was not leaving without speaking to the owner, the owner came and he was so nice but at that point, not even a free meal was going to make me comfortable enough to eat there. I thanked him and we left 2 hour before New Year’s for another restaurant so we could have something to eat. Very nice owner, horrible first experience only 8 days after their grand opening in DHA Raya - not all things translate when franchising. We respectfully thank the owner but we will be dining at the original Gaucho’s in Gulberg...

Had an amazing dining experience at Gauchos Steakhouse located in the serene surroundings of Raya Phase 6. The ambiance is cozy yet upscale — perfect for a dinner date or a quality outing with friends. Warm lighting, well-set tables, and courteous staff really elevated the overall vibe.
🥩 RIBEYE Steak Rich, tender, juicy, and packed with flavor! The marbling on the Ribeye made every bite melt in the mouth. It was perfectly cooked and served with steak fries, steamed veggies, and my chosen sider — mac and cheese, which was creamy and comforting. I went for two sauces: Garlic Mushroom and Black Pepper Sauce — both were delicious and complemented the steak beautifully. A must-try for all beef lovers!
🍗 Stuffed Chicken Also tried their Stuffed Chicken — well-seasoned, juicy and loaded with flavor. A solid option if you’re in the mood for something lighter than red meat.
🌮 Tacos From the small plates menu, I ordered the Tacos — fresh, flavorful, and the presentation was on point. Great portion for a starter!
🍹 Drinks To beat the heat, we ordered their Pineapple, Kiwi, and Peach Mojitos. Each one was refreshing, not overly sweet, and had just the right tang. Super refreshing and perfect with the meal.
Overall, the taste was excellent, portion sizes were satisfying, and service was prompt and friendly. Whether you’re a steak lover or just looking for a great spot to dine in Lahore, Gauchos is worth checking out.

Read moreToday, our experience at Gaychos DHA Raya branch prompted us to share our observations. The initial reception by the staff was welcoming, with a particular staff member in a professional black suit taking our order. However, we encountered an issue when attempting to order the T-Bone steak.
The staff member strongly suggested the premium option at a higher cost, asserting that the regular one would not be as tender. This approach raised concerns about their marketing strategy, as it seemed to pressure customers into opting for a more expensive choice to ensure the desired tenderness.
We ultimately ordered a regular T-Bone steak and chicken strips. The chicken strips were satisfactory, although slightly firm in texture. Unfortunately, the regular T-Bone steak appeared intentionally tough, potentially influencing customers to opt for the premium version. While the flavor was commendable, the difficulty in cutting and chewing the beef was a notable drawback.
To conclude on a positive note, the green tea ordered at the end of the meal was finally a pleasing aspect of our dining experience.
Overall, our rating stands at 6/10. We recommend that Gaychos focuses on refining their customer service approach and reconsidering marketing strategies that may unintentionally create a sense of pressure...
