I am based in Lahore & have been visiting Gulberg, Lahore branch quite many times for breakfast. Recently I was in Islamabad and thought to visit the franchise in F-7/2. I dined here for breakfast and man the experience I had in ISL was a day and night difference between the one in LHR. I would like the pleasure to provide details. First of all, the croissants served in ISL were extremely fresh and most importantly glazed and aromatic! While croissants served in LHR doesn’t seem fresh and does not have glossy texture to it. The butter served in ISL is better than the one in LHR (even there is brand difference). I ordered breakfast sandwich, and I can say there is clear difference between the one I have been eating in LHR. Breakfast sandwich in ISL has the better variety of hand-cut fruits and with added dressing. While in LHR there are only 2 types of hand-cut fruit and not even seasoned and no dressing at all! The bread used in ISL was far better than the one in LHR. The difference was about the availability of a touch of grain and raisins in ISL vs plain brown bread in LHR. I was also served with a sauce on the side with my breakfast-sandwich but in LHR nothing. My brother ordered Spanish omelet and the side salad was properly dressed. On side I ordered sausages and the ones in ISL are better in quality than in LHR. To my surprise there is also difference between the blueberry smoothie served in ISL vs in LHR. The one I tried in LHR had a grainy texture and who adds strawberry syrup to a blueberry smoothie? This changed the overall taste! In ISL I really loved the blueberry smoothie, it had a velvety smooth texture and was properly balanced with the ingredient’s ratio. Overall, the staff in ISL is very very friendly while the staff in LHR aren’t welcoming at all and have seriousness showcasing at all times. I am leaving this review as a healthy critique and is for the purpose of improvements in the LHR franchise so that we can enjoy quality standard...

Summer’s the time for some true “Angrezi “breakfast! And whats better than English Tea House when it comes to that! Covid’s been a real spoilsport this past year! Dine Outs, TakeAways, Car dine-in is the way to go! We went for Car dine in! And ordered: Spicy-Desi Cheese Omelette with Potato Hash brown. Yeah! We know! Angezi Nashta or phir b Desi Omelette? :P But trust let us tell you the Omelette just had a desi twist to it when it came to spices! Other than that it was generously filled with capsicum, green chilies, tomatoes and spring onions with a cheesy Oomph! English Tea House rarely makes a mistake when it comes to hash browns! And they were tasty as ever! Scrumptious combination! Omelette - 8/10 Hash Brown - 9/10 Mexican-cheese omlette with Beef steak If you are out for something cheesy yet spicy! Mexican Cheese Omellete must be your first choice! Lots of veggies and cheese combined with Mexican spicy flavors! Droolworthy! But disappointingly steak was way below average! Small and dry it felt more like a desi kebab and not even a piece of meat! Chunky Potatoes ne izzat rakh li bas steak ki! Omeltte -9/10 Steak - 5/10 Chunky Potatoes - 9/10 All entrées were served with a freshly baked croissant which, a slice of bread with butter, jam and a box of mixed seasonal fruits! Total Angrezi Mahol! We also ordered Cadbury Hot Chocolate which which ended up complimenting the breakfast in the perfect manner! Rating is 9/10 It was a refreshing experience! Let us know about yours? And stay tuned for more unbiased reviews! #thehungertherapy #lahore #foodies #postoftheday #breakfast #lunch #dinner #fun #relaxing...

The English Tea House in Lahore is a delightful spot for anyone who enjoys a cozy, relaxed atmosphere paired with high-quality food and drinks. Nestled in a charming setting, the café exudes a warm and inviting vibe, making it a perfect place for a leisurely breakfast, afternoon tea, or a casual catch-up with friends.

The food here is consistently excellent. Their breakfast options, especially the Moroccan baked eggs, eggs benedict and freshly baked croissants, are a great way to start the day. The sandwiches and pasta dishes are well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Their desserts, particularly the cheesecakes and scones, are an absolute must-try—light, fluffy, and full of flavor.

The tea and coffee selection is impressive, with a variety of blends to suit every preference. The English breakfast tea is rich and perfectly brewed, while the cappuccinos and lattes are smooth and well-balanced. The freshly squeezed juices and refreshing iced teas are also great options.

What sets The English Tea House apart is its ambiance. The interior has a charming European-inspired décor with comfortable seating and a peaceful environment, making it an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The outdoor seating is especially lovely in pleasant weather.

Overall, The English Tea House is a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy quality food and drinks in a cozy setting. Whether you're a tea lover or just looking for a relaxing spot with great food, it’s definitely...

Quick: close your eyes, and picture the first thing you think of when I say "Indian tea." Two guesses on what you see: sultry spiced chai or dark amber black tea, taken with milk and English biscuits What's the deal with Darjeeling, and why is it so highly prized? It's a Chinese tea that grows in India with flavors of French grapes and Himalayan mountain air. It can taste more like wine than other tea. Even if you're not a tea drinker, good Darjeeling is so interesting that it's really worth a try. If your only Darjeeling experiences have been with blended teas, added flavors, or the dark bitterness of over-brewing, there's a lot more to it that's worth sipping. Darjeeling is frequently called the "Champagne of teas," with musky-sweet tasting notes similar to muscat wine. But it can also have delicate vegetal, mossy, fruity, and citrus flavors. Though Darjeeling is an Indian-grown tea (from, you got it, Darjeeling), the leaves are actually Chinese. "Most tea plants in Darjeeling are of the smaller leaf Camellia sinensis var. sinensis, rather than the larger leaf var. assamica, more commonly grown throughout the rest of India," explains Jim Schreiber, a tea and beverage operations manager.
