I am based in Lahore & have been visiting Gulberg, Lahore branch quite many times for breakfast. Recently I was in Islamabad and thought to visit the franchise in F-7/2. I dined here for breakfast and man the experience I had in ISL was a day and night difference between the one in LHR. I would like the pleasure to provide details. First of all, the croissants served in ISL were extremely fresh and most importantly glazed and aromatic! While croissants served in LHR doesn’t seem fresh and does not have glossy texture to it. The butter served in ISL is better than the one in LHR (even there is brand difference). I ordered breakfast sandwich, and I can say there is clear difference between the one I have been eating in LHR. Breakfast sandwich in ISL has the better variety of hand-cut fruits and with added dressing. While in LHR there are only 2 types of hand-cut fruit and not even seasoned and no dressing at all! The bread used in ISL was far better than the one in LHR. The difference was about the availability of a touch of grain and raisins in ISL vs plain brown bread in LHR. I was also served with a sauce on the side with my breakfast-sandwich but in LHR nothing. My brother ordered Spanish omelet and the side salad was properly dressed. On side I ordered sausages and the ones in ISL are better in quality than in LHR. To my surprise there is also difference between the blueberry smoothie served in ISL vs in LHR. The one I tried in LHR had a grainy texture and who adds strawberry syrup to a blueberry smoothie? This changed the overall taste! In ISL I really loved the blueberry smoothie, it had a velvety smooth texture and was properly balanced with the ingredient’s ratio. Overall, the staff in ISL is very very friendly while the staff in LHR aren’t welcoming at all and have seriousness showcasing at all times. I am leaving this review as a healthy critique and is for the purpose of improvements in the LHR franchise so that we can enjoy quality standard...
