Mandarin kitchen is situated in gulberg lahore.Its location is off M.M.Alam Road Lahore. The road which is connecting this restaurant from M.M.Alam Road to restaurant is in very bad condition. Very few car parking available near main entrance of the restaurant. The remaining customer cars 🚗 parked on road side. Secondly it's a small restaurant. The service is good 👍. The hot & sour soup is very good 👍. Personally I like there fried prawns. Which was very fresh. Chicken chilli 🌶 dry was also good in taste. But some things are not comfortable. One sitting arrangement was not good and comfortable. The space is very short for sitting. Each time when waiter pick the plate he also pick your fork and spoon also.Then you call again and ask for new spoon and fork . There are not so much variety of food. Some dishes of Chinese food , like egg fried rice , 🍚 chicken 🐔 chilli 🌶 dry , dragon 🐉 chicken , mini pizza , and two or three more dishes. Plus dahi bahlay , goal gupay and chana chat also available with different type of chutneys. Some kind of sweets and dessert 🍨 🥧 🍦 🍡 🍧 🍩 was also available. Tea was also available. Soft drinks 🍸 and water bottle 🍶 was very costly. The ambience is not good and comfortable and noisy. The prices are very high and the variety is quite less according to rates. Sometimes the experience at a restaurant is so good that you forget to take pictures.

The staff at Mandarin is super friendly, they gotus seated at a comfortable corner. The best thing about Mandarin is their complimentary mint margarita, it is one of the best I have ever had.

I had hi-tea at Mandarin and I loved everything about it. The Mandarin special chicken and Shanghai chicken are my personal favourites. Their chowmein is super good and is full of flavour (unlike chowmein from other restaurants).

Other items like bhel puri, mini pizzas, beef baos, glazed potatoes etc. were also decent in taste.

To sum it all up, I'm shortlisting the items that I liked the MOST. Mint Margarita Mandarin Special Soup (they serve it at the table) Tempura prawns (served fresh at your table) combined with tartar sauce Their salads were amazing (all three of them: Russian salad, Caesar salad & fruit salad) Shanghai chicken paired with chowmein

In the desserts section, I really liked the banana bread. There was also a little label saying 'flan' but I couldn't find any flan. The ice cream was good, also the Tres Leches cake. Tried a little doughnut, it was good too.

I tried the tea, it was a little strong for me.

Overall, I think the dining experience was worth the money. At Mandarin, every food item is flavoured to perfection.

I have a lot of wonderful memories associated with this place..and I would highly recommend their Hi-tea to anyone who is looking for a pleasant...
