Smokey's Texas grill: I rarely go out to dinners in Ramadan especially and don't find most places worth their mettle but after a lot of scouring the group, I settled on this place today and I was so remarkably surprised by how spot on everything was! Mr Asad met us at the reception and was very welcoming. The ambience is lovely with just the right amount of lighting and the seating is comfortable and cosy while allowing for privacy and space. One of the best points of any public place is the cleanliness and their washrooms were sparkling! Coming to the menu, I was open to suggestion from the manager regarding the steaks. I think we were served mushroom beef and cowboy steak with sides of mashed potatoes and baked potato. We were served complimentary mint mocktails which were very refreshing. The cuts of beef used in the steak were succulent to say the least but there is no discounting the talent of the chef. Both steaks were bursting with flavour. The smoked aftertaste was delicious and the temperature was just right. The mashed potatoes were a big hit, so light and creamy. Loved it all. But I'm very happy to report that the very best thing was the service with a smile. These people make you want to go above and beyond for them in return, they take such good care of you! Ok, let me share my first experience at Smokey's Texas Grill with you people. Actually I was on a short tour to lahore and staying in DHA, Lahore, It was decided by my friends in late night to have dinner and we start searching near by restaurants and finally we made consensus on this restaurant to be visited for filling our tummies. Firstly on reaching at restaurant we experienced one limitation that they don't have elevator as one of our friend was prohibited to use stairs due to some medical issues so we decided to dine on ground floor although they have great ambiance on first floor too. Order was given and food was on table before given time. taste of each and every item ordered was great specially beef steak. Service also also good. Credit card facility available. 🍷 options are limited. Good place for family and young kids to be taken with you. Prices are little bit high as compared to other restaurants but Taste of food justify it. Restaurant remains open in late night hrs. I visited it on EID days therefore there was no 🅿️ issue but it should be on other days. came here for lunch, the atmosphere was nice but it’s very dimly lit inside and was very dark. recommend get better lighting

for appetizer we ordered nachos. now i know this was a “texas” style themed place but nachos are not texan they are mexican, but we got was not mexican nachos but some sort of desi chaat like thing with lettuce, paapr, and some sauce ontop with chicken pieces. would not get again

the steak though, that was 5/5 stars. we got the cowboy steak asked for medium-well done. it was really good. i will come back for that only.

the burger was not good, we got the american classic. the burger patty was not even solid and was breaking apart like a shaami kebab, and the bun was not good. the other burger buns are better.

the fries that came with both orders was really good. the options like sauted vegetables and coleslaw was ok but didn’t try it.

we wanted to have the special drinks like mint or pineapple or lemon margaritas but none were available. only thing to drink was cold drink cans. that was a bummer.

overall good steaks, wil be back for those only.
