Canopy by Roomy, Rooftop Restaurant — Restaurant in Zone 1

Recently visited this restaurant just because it was a highly rated place on maps. We ordered Qeema Paratha, Cheese Naan, Mutton Karahi, and Kabuli Platter.

The starters were excellent, cheese naan was flavourful and had a proper cheese pull. Qeema paratha was equally good, but as well all know, all good things come to an end.

Instead of mutton karahi, we were served chicken karahi and had to wait for 10 more minutes to get it replaced. The serving size of full karahi was comparable to half karahi from a roadside dhaba. Mutton karahi had very small pieces of bones in every single bite. It tasted good but our experienced was ruined.

Platter had very small quantity of rice but reshmi boti along with seekh kebab were good and cooked well. Rice wasn’t particularly tasty but, very oily instead. The chicken in platter had not been washed properly and there was visible blood as seen in the picture.

Service was mediocre as we had to wait for almost 7 8 minutes for naan to arrive and food went cold as it was an open sitting.

Mint margarita had a tangy and minty taste, just like you’d expect but serving size was a joke.

It was my first experience at Canopy and I wonder why not many people talk about it. I think maybe because it has no sign board outside the building. I couldn't find any sign of it until i Went up there.

So back to the review. It was my first time going there and it was such a great experience. Loved the food sooo much. Ordered a platter for 2 and soup. Everything was perfect. Tea could have been a little bit better, Staff there specially "mashkoor sb" was really nice and even suggested us to select from the menu.
