Good room + view, poor event management.
The room l got was great, and so is the house keeping. Zulfiqar from house keeping made sure my room is clean and comfy.
However, Roomy events are awful. I had my nikah there. While it may look reasonable, there are a million unexpected costs that make no sense. The catering staff is very good and polite but the rest is awful.
They have no weather backup if you get the rooftop. If it rains, you can just soak.
My event was during the day so they even charged 15k to allow the decor team to complete their setup. Charges for the hours the decor team took to set-up the venue. I was told that someone from their staff will have to supervise so extra charges for that. Note: This wasn't mentioned in advance. FYI, they don't have their own decor team so they asked me to outsource. I got mine done from Wiz Events which was a great experience on its own, but they were troubled too during the set up process. All venues and hotels allow decor teams to work overnight, before the event or work hours before the evenr because obviously it takes time to transport all the decor items snd set them all up.
They don't allow you to take the leftover food home. Waste of money. I also outsourced a paan station and I was told that l could take the leftovers home, that didn't happen either.
I had to pay for the complimentary room for the night just because they offered a relative a discount on another room booking. In short, they cancelled my room because they gave a discount to someone for me, one that l didn't even ask for.
I cleared the full amount before the event, only 5000 was pending. After the event, l went up to my room and told them that I'd pay shortly after l unwind. They called me or knocked at my door every 5 minutes. It was frustrating to the core, and l couldn't even take a second to go to the bathroom. Over 30 calls in 2 days, 1 day before thr event and then on the day of the event.
After clearing the dues, they called me another 12 times forcing me to send them a screenshot. Standard chartered's bank app doesn't allow screenshots, which l mentioned. I sent the text confirmation but that didn't suffice. Even when l was outside the hotel in a salon, they were asking me to ask a salon staff member to take a picture of my phone and then forward it to them. All this but they couldn't bother checking with their accounts department.
Despite telling them multiple times, they didn't display the event name and venue on the digital event board. The guests were lost and confused and didn't know where to go. This happened despite me even asking them to atleast request the guards, or the reception staff to guide the guests.
They have an ugly blue panaflex with their logo on the wall behind the stage which they dont allow you to cover. This throws off the look of the event no matter how good your decor is.
They bill 15% tax, 10% advance tax and 5% more tax which is added separately so it added an extra 150k to the total.
There are no mobile signals at the venue and they don't display the wifi password anywhere. The wifi also barely connected and worked.
Room service doesn't work/answer after 12am. It's just non-stop voicemail.
Summary: The catering staff is very good and polite but the event Customer experience on the whole can be managed a million times better. Not worth the last minute stress they give you. I was on my toes and would barely enjoy because until the event ended, I was stressed about the new rules and policies they kept surprising me with. They just have excuses...

Customer Service: The customer service at Roomy Signature Hotel was exceptional. Every staff member we interacted with was professional, friendly, and eager to assist. From the front desk to the concierge, the level of service provided was consistent and commendable. Food: The dining experience at Roomy Signature Hotel was superb. The restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes, each prepared with the finest ingredients and presented beautifully. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, featuring an extensive selection of both local and international cuisines. Location: The hotel's location is another strong point. Situated in a prime area of Islamabad, it offers easy access to major attractions and shopping centers. Despite its central location, the hotel provides a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Among them, Roomy Signature Hotel in Islamabad has been a frequent choice for hosting our foreign groups and corporate clients.
Over the past five years, we’ve organized numerous group stays, events, and retreats at this property for both local and international corporations. Unfortunately, despite this long-standing professional relationship, our experience with the staff at Roomy Signature Islamabad has repeatedly fallen short of expectations—especially when it comes to guest handling and professionalism at the front desk.
On multiple occasions, our guests have been unnecessarily stopped or asked to settle room charges that were either already paid or clearly mentioned to be billed to us as per prior arrangements. It appears that there is a frequent turnover of reception staff, and new hires are not properly briefed on existing corporate agreements or how to deal with guests respectfully. This careless and uninformed behavior directly impacts the overall experience of our international tourists and undermines the hard work we put into curating smooth and enjoyable trips.
Furthermore, as a regular corporate partner, we’ve found that the hotel lacks the trust and flexibility that’s typically expected in such long-term collaborations. In the travel and tourism industry, where timing, coordination, and guest experience are everything, it becomes extremely difficult for us to recommend a property that seems more focused on immediate payments than on building lasting professional trust.
We sincerely hope the management at Roomy Signature Islamabad takes this feedback seriously and works on improving staff training and their approach toward established corporate partners. Until then, we would advise fellow tour operators and corporate planners to consider alternate accommodations where guest experience and mutual trust are prioritized.
