We had a bill of 5.400 Rs. Lamb shank, beef Philly stake quesadilla. And fish and chips. Rarely I wasted any money on food but this was a total waste. I ordered fish and chips for my children and they ensured that it was NONE spicy. Guess what, it was not. I wasn't surprised but we discussed the none spicy option with the waiter for 15 minutes. Anyways. The food arrived and I couldn't believe my eyes. 3 pieces of fish 1cm thick (if) the size of my 4year old sons palm was the size of each fish. Half a medium size fries. I thought they are kidding charging 2k for that. When the rest arrived I was once again shocked about the portion size. We paid a good amount of money seriously. And the mashed potatoes even were maybe 4-5tablespoons. It's more or less the cheapest thing in the market. Don't be so greedy and at least increase your fries or mashed potato size for god's sake. The lamb shank was soft in some spots but dry overall. The sauce of the beef quesadilla was ok, can't say enough how tiny everything was. After telling the waiter about our experience and I said after my kids (both under 4) ate food worth 2k they were still hungry but since the rest was spicy i wasnt able to offer. Now I'm going to get burgers for them. The waiter had absolutely no idea what to say and he just said ok next time I will tell the cook. I'm like wth??as if we will come. The picture shows the lamb shank plate. Only thing eaten here was the mango. The spoon in the picture is a small spoon. Not a regular big size spoon.
A plate of fries, on the house would have calmed my anger down and made me not write this comment the way I did.Absolutely unbelievable what poor customer service people provide. If you are really hungry and want to be full. Choose roasters, or...
Read moreIt was a fabulous experience. Food was delicious. Service was brilliant.
We ordered Nachos as starters. For mains, we had sirloin steak, Stuffed chicken, Chipotle chicken baked past and the Rumba platter. For drinks we had mojitos. Mint and Blueberry.
Nachos were good. 8/10
Sirloin Steak was really good. Proper cooked with sides. Although asked for Medium well, it was quite well done. Still, the taste was amazing. Havent had such a nice and juicy steak in long. 9.5/10
Stuffed Chicken was good too. Got baked potato as a side and it was really good.
The Chipotle pasta was good. A spicy creamy pasta which was well cooked.
For our child, we opted for Rumba platter as it had little bit of everything. Included fish, mozzarella sticks and drumsticks. We wanted something not spicy at all. So the server said they can make sure of that. They changed the wedges to fries as wedges had spicy seasoning on them.
Apart from that, for everything, even for nachos, they didnt add salsa on top and gave us Jalapenos separately.
Really brilliant and good effort by them to make sure our child is happy.
Mojitos were really good too. Mint was fabulous Blueberry had the flavoured syrup at the bottom so had to mix it initially but tasted very nice.
Overall, a really really good restaurant.
We went on a weekday to avoid crowds.
They also gave us complimentary potato balls.
Bill was on the high end, coming upto 4,500 per head but the taste, ambiance and service does...
Read moreI came to Rumba specifically to try their Australian steak beef, and I’m so glad I did it was absolutely outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium-rare) with a beautiful sear on the outside and an incredibly juicy, tender interior. You could really taste the high quality of the meat rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. Every bite was a reminder of how great a well-prepared steak can be. The seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the natural flavor of the beef without overpowering it.
The sides were decent and complemented the steak well, though nothing particularly memorable. Service was average not bad at all, just standard. The staff were polite and efficient, but there wasn't anything especially warm or standout about the interaction. The atmosphere was also pretty normal—not too fancy, not too casual just a regular dining setting without much flair.
But honestly, the steak alone makes it worth the visit. If you're coming here for the food, especially the beef, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely return just for that amazing steak, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for top-quality beef done right. Rumba truly knows how to treat a great...
