Very disappointed, came here for the first time. One server was very good, others were very average. We sat downstairs, my wife and myself. We ordered the Burnt Steak and the one with a tiger prawn. Supposedly, two different steaks. Menu showed Sidelines to have Rocket Spinach amongst others. I also ordered Hot and Sour Soup. While our order was coming, we asked if there was any discount on any card. My wife gave her Faysal Bank card to the waiter, who went to check how much discount we could get on our card. He was gone for between 5-10 minutes. That means, he had full information of the card, including the CVV. Very unprofessional. He came back and told us, although the card had a 15% discount, our order was not enough for the discount. We accepted that, and continued our evening. I then decided to ask another waiter, what was a amount on which the discount was applicable. He came back after checking that our bill was around Rs.7,000/-, but since we had ordered beef, there would not be a discount. Imagine one waiter saying one thing, the other totally different. That's called poor management. My Hot and Sour soup that came, was good and I asked for Tobassco and for the sauces. The sauces brought except for the Soy Sauce, were almost empty. Sent those back. By the time, new fills arrived, my soup had finished. The steaks were very mediocre because they all tasted the same. The meat had been well pounded, but the steaks were too thin and therefore dry. Sauces on top do not make a steak juicy. The thicker the steak, the juicier it is. I would say that most people do not have the right pallette, and by virtue of that will appreciate anything, as long as it is in bulk. One of the waiters serving us, was tweaking his beard constantly, with his hand, while talking to us. That shows poor training, and making money, come what may. Perhaps he should be in a mosque. This place serves one of the best steaks in Islamabad. The restaurant is centrally located in the F-6 super market. Free parking is available however it’s difficult to find a spot during peak rush hours. The restaurant has seating available on the ground floor as well as the stair only accessible first floor. The decor is really nice with comfortable seating. They also have a small outdoor seating area. The menu is quite vast with a wide variety of different cuisines however their speciality is steaks and that’s the recommended order. The staff is very well trained and are helpful in guiding to chose best steak option. The service is right on time without delays despite a packed restaurant.
