This was a lovely little cafe with a ver laid back, bookish atmosphere and surprisingly good food. I originally came with the intent to just get some writing done and buy a coffee, but I liked the place so much I decided to have a meal as well. The walls are covered in bookshelves and there were multiple sections dedicated to books about Pakistan and Asia (I bought 3 books related to Pakhtun's in Pakistan/Afghanistan). I got the simplest of the burgers on their menu. They do have a "special menu" but I am always skeptical in Pakistan and figured if they can do the simplest burger well then I'd be willing to come back again. The burger (really there were two burger patties not one) was divine! Perfectly juicy, with plenty of veg (salad, tomato, cucumber) and a delicious sauce. They gave a lovely fresh salad and potato wedges with the dish as well. They get the most points for accommodating my celiacs (gluten intolerance) happily and without any fuss. Anyone who eats Gluten free should come here, I'm sure they'd give you a naked burger without the bun or if you're like me and carry your own bread and such they will gladly use what you give them. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good burger. I grew up in the US where they REALLY know how to make a good burger so trust me when I say this will be worth it. I'd also like to comment on the fact that it's a great place to get some work done (writing, whatever), but I imagine it would be wonderful with a group of friends too since they had nice seating inside...

Cafe Biblio seems a very good addition in Islamabad from the concept of this place. It is a place converted into a cafe from the Vangaurd Book shop.

Seating arrangement is good for sifting through a book with a cup of coffee, alone or within a small group of friends. One is surrounded by the book shelves. (a big plus). Interior is done well (may be a bit over with too many artificial flowers). However, some attention needs to be paid to spots with peeling paint at the ceiling, right above the best seating corner.

Location is also a good one as it sits in a quiet corner of Super Market (F6 Markaz). And being in the Markaz, this is accessible for most of the residential sectors of Islamabad as well as the Blue Area. Unlike many places in Super Market, this cafe has reasonable parking spaces available right in front as well as along the sports facility nearby.

When it comes to coffee, the espresso they served was probably the most awkward one. I'd give here a benefit of doubt as it was almost their closing time for Friday. Plus, a single visit may not do justice with a place that offers an unusual ambiance for a coffee house in Islamabad.

Staff was however very helpful and courteous.

With the noise about vanishing book shops around Pakistan's urban areas, Vangaurd's conversion into Cafe Biblio is a welcome change as they have not altogether went on a...

The Café Biblio

WHAT A HORRIBLE DINNER we had today. Tasteless , waste of money , utter disappointment ,poor management and what not. Ordered Beirut mix grill which worth for Rs 2950 /- all we got was 5 6peice of BBQ with no hummus and toum. Supper bland pizza (Rs1850) ,British fish and chips (Rs2250) and chicken parmesan (Rs1930) .Total bill was Rs11000 and yet we came back empty stomach which is haunting me now.

Coming towards management we ordered Americano with separate milk which was to serve before food firstly they served upon asking for many times that too without milk, brown sugar spoon no nothing , upon asking the waiter he said sorry actually we're new not all the staff is trained.

Then coming towards order they started serving our order after good 50mins and that too in installments sigh , well we asked the waiter to call the manager and his reply : HE'S BUSY INSIDE HE CANNOT COME when we get a bit rude then he said me bulata but he DIDN'T,

Then another waiter I asked him to call the waiter he vanished. we called the manager ourselves And when we said to him k AP SIRF ANDER WALAY CUSTOMERS K MANAGER HAIN he was like nhi mjhe btaya nhi Kisi ne OK GOOD. and he goes like

ACTUALLY ABHI HUMNE SOFT Launch KRNI THI HUMEN NHI PTA THA PR SHR SE ITNAY Customers AJAENGAY. Well after all this utter disappointment there was no...

1/5 Stars I had high hopes for Mudz after seeing all the buzz on Instagram about their beautiful library cafe aesthetic in F6. The interior truly is stunning and cozy, exactly what you'd want in a neighborhood spot. Unfortunately, the experience was genuinely terrible. We visited as a family and ordered extensively to try their menu - fish and chips, pizzas, sandwiches, T-bone steak, stuffed chicken, steamed fish, pancakes, and coffee. Not a single dish was acceptable. The fried fish was soggy, the T-bone steak was tough and overcooked, the panini had chicken with an off smell, the thin crust pizza was both soggy and flavorless, and the pancakes were dense and chewy instead of fluffy. Only the coffee was drinkable. The service was extremely slow on top of everything else. While the staff and manager offered a 20% discount after we complained, it was meaningless - this was an absolute waste of time and money when you're trying to enjoy an outing with family. The beautiful interior can't compensate for subpar, overpriced food and poor service. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend anyone else waste their time or money here either.

Biblio Café is a hidden gem in Islamabad that perfectly combines the love of books with the love of good coffee. Nestled in a cozy corner, this café offers a serene atmosphere ideal for reading, studying, or just relaxing with friends. The ambiance is inviting, with shelves lined with a diverse collection of books, comfortable seating, and soft lighting that creates a warm and welcoming environment. Whether you're a bibliophile or just looking for a quiet spot to unwind, Biblio Café has something for everyone. The menu is delightful, featuring a wide range of coffees, teas, and delicious snacks. I particularly enjoyed their latte coffee, which was perfectly brewed, and the sandvich were fresh and delectable. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that your visit is pleasant and enjoyable. Overall, Biblio Café is a must-visit spot in Islamabad. It's not just a café; it's an experience that caters to both the mind and the taste buds. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and indulge in some quality time with a good book and great coffee.
