BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! This is my first review for any restaurant. Went there for the first time I’m visiting from abroad, so I wanted to try some Chinese food with my wife at the F7 location. We ordered there, Thai soup, chicken, corn soup, mint margarita, lemonade, sizzling, beef, garlic chicken And dumplings. Right off the bat, the dumpling look like they were baked and they were the ones you could buy frozen at the supermarket. After about five or six spoons in, we found a black fly in the Thai soup Upon call the waiting staff and informed them. We did not make a fuss about it and continue to enjoy her night. After we finish the food we ordered 1 margarita and after we asked for the check, we were brought a broken screen iPad with the total of RS 4993. And now they bring out the Thai Soup with no apology or anything like we were just supposed to sit there at take this. Well I paid for it and left the waiter 300 rs tip on the table but as I was leaving something told Me that something was fishy so I asked for a receipt the staff took about 20 damn minutes First, they acted like they were digging through old receipts to find the ones that they just made literally four minutes ago then they went onto the computer for 20 minutes to come up with the receipt which led me to believe things were suss so upon checkin the receipt was for 4293 about 700 short.{had the soups wrong the receipts} When I told the entire team on the counter, they said that they forgot to add the fish and chips I had ordered onto this receipt. I told him that I never ordered any fish and chips and this was my complete order on the receipt. After looking at the receipt, the waiter told me that I had given you the change back upon which i became a little frustrated and said you did not…then staff was told by the manager to go look in the Tips jar. Someone might have put it there. They didnt find it the tips jar. They they all had a meeting on the side. Went to back to counter and brought me me 700 back and handed it very rudely. I would not recommend anyone going there if they care about their health or mood the store hours says 12 AM to 12 PM, but they still let people in until 1 AM and Rob Unsuspecting clients of their hard earned money, and then act tough when they get caught. Pathetic. And downright criminal. I wonder how many poor Islamabadians have been robbed at this location and don't even realize. I would ask the owner to take serious action about...
Read moreQuite a lively place with an uplifting setting (a pleasant surprise indeed for Islamabad eateries. And this I say with a heavy heart as a fellow Islooite). The staff is also extremely welcoming and quick in responding. However, it can be quite loud around lunch time which can be somewhat problematic since tables are placed quite close together and folks in Islamabad have a penchant for conversing loudly in public (thereby giving us a live account of all sorts of gharailo maslay, relationship troubles, gossip, etc., despite one's best efforts to block out such utterly fascinating stuff).
As for the food, the menu offered decent choices. We ordered dynamite shrimps as our appetizer and two deluxe bowls. I opted for Kung Pao chicken and some Beef Chilly Dry as an add-on while my colleague ordered Cherry Chilli Chicken. The beef chilli dry in particular I enjoyed and the Kung Pao chicken wasn't too bad either. Moreover, I was quite happy with the serving size as I ended up having to pack some of the food that I couldn't finish.
However, my colleague who is Karachi born and bred (and has an arguably more refined taste than me when it comes to food) was severely disappointed. He was hoping for something along the lines of Chop Chop Wok and and got something else instead. A bit bland and nothing too memorable was how he rated his food. "Definitely not a place I'll visit again".
Our bill in the end for 1 appetizer, 2 deluxe bowls and 1 mineral water bottle ended up ~2k rupees. Not too pricey but not that cheap either. All in all, I'll definitely be visiting this place again to try out a few of their other menu items.
So just to quickly sum up: Ambience: 9/10 Noise level: 6/10 (lower number means a high level of noise) Taste of food: 8/10 Serving Size: 9/10 Pricing: 7/10 Cleanliness: 9/10 Staff...

Me and my friends went to Ginyaki for dinner today and I honestly have no words to describe how disappointed we were. Ginyaki has always been one of my comfort spots and their Korean Spicy Chicken used to be my favorite meal for a long time. But this time it was completely different. The dish had no real flavor and was only full of spice. It felt like eating plain red or green chilies with no actual taste or seasoning. It used to be so good but now it just tastes harsh and bland at the same time.
The curry also tasted off and the flavor was very strange. I even asked the server if they had changed their chef because it really seemed like someone new and inexperienced had cooked it. I also requested that the rice and curry be served separately but the server did not follow that either which added to the disappointment.
My friends ordered Chinese Honey Chicken and Mongolian Beef but both dishes were equally bad. My friend who ordered the Honey Chicken even said, “Why did you waste so much money bringing us here?” and I completely agreed.
Ginyaki used to be one of my favorite restaurants but after tonight it felt like a completely different place with bland food and careless service. I really hope they bring back the old taste and quality that made Ginyaki...
