We recently visited Delicias Margot, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home.
The service was excellent—our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that the staff truly cares about their customers.
We were pleasantly surprised with a sample of breakfast on the house, which was a great start to our meal. We then enjoyed the pata de cerdo, which was tender and flavorful. The arroz con ensalada was the perfect accompaniment, with its fresh and tasty ingredients. My husband had the sancocho and costillas de cerdo, and he couldn’t stop raving about it. The sancocho was hearty and comforting, and the costillas de cerdo were crispy and delicious.
Overall, Delicias Margot exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their delicious menu. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable...
Read moreThis place, for the past year, has been slowly going down hill for breakfast. I normally stop there about 8 am, on my way to Panama city. Today, it was just another sad "greasería" on the side of the highway. The availability of "frituras", such as empanadas, carimañolas, hojaldres, and chicharrones, in the mornings, is almost none. They are not keeping up with the denand, so you see several empty trays where the frituras used to be. Fruit drinks, such as maracuya are spordic now. And the amount of dripping greasy food is frightful. I cannot recommend, with a clear heart, this place any more. I will give it two more tries after today for them to get their act together. After that, I will give Delicias Margot - Coronado a bad rating, and will not bring customers...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this place, but in the end the food was only ok. We tried three different tamales, chicken, pork and butter. The pork was the best, followed by the chicken, but the butter tamale was uninspiring. Smoked pork had good flavor but, because it is cooked in small pieces, was dry. Sausage were still most despite being over cooked. There's no side dishes unless I missed something, so I hope that you enjoy your masa.
Service was ok, but no English and the woman at the counter was dismissive. Maybe we were charged the gringo prices that someone else mentioned, but I still thought it was cheap at $15 for the above with two drinks.
Bathrooms were clean, but a patron with an aggressive dog was allowed to sit right next to them.
We probably...
