It saddens me to say that the experience was awful, I went with my wife and in-laws for some dessert.
We eat the following desserts: Bizcocho de chocolate con relleno y cobertura de ganache de chocolate. Mousse de chocolate oscuro cubierto de crocante de pistacho Cheesecake Mermelada Mora
Feedback: Service was slow, also the waiter and the manager are not bilingual. Being part of the Shereton hotel franchise the whole area is run down, tables have wholes are scratched. Waiter provided metal cutlery to my in-laws and gave me and my wife a plastic soup spoons so we can eat our pieces of cakes. We had to request to have this changed. The "Mousse de chocolate oscuro cubierto de crocante de pistacho" Had not taste, you could barely taste the chocolate at all, the mousse was just air. Was not up to par, it seemed it was made from box cake bix instead of fresh high quality materials that are what to be expected from a bakery like Las Hadas. Cheesecake Mermelada Mora was not fresh, it seems this was on display for a long time. When we provided feedback to the waiter, who called his manager that talked to us in a very threatening way, He seemed to be clueless on how the kitchen was handled, we asked if the products were fresh or not. My in-laws are retired, and no senior citizens discount was given on his Coffee and cake, since the manager said, "There is no senior citizens discount on Cakes, you have to order a complete menu for that".
Conclusion: I do hope you can use these areas of opportunities to get back to the level of quality you have provided...
Read moreToday I went to eat a soup at Las Hadas el sancocho Panameño until today I was a customer of the place, I started eating by mixing the rice with the soup everything was fine until I tried the rice alone. The rice was stale, spoiled, it smelled bad and tasted bad, it was beginning to ferment, it was acidic and it definitely smelled bad. I emphasize because I very kindly told the waitress, she very kindly offered me a complimentary snack, I told her that I had gone to eat the soup because something had gone wrong on the street and now I'm worried because the rice might go wrong. She told me that she would call her supervisor, well the guy came to tell me that the rice was good, that it wasn't It was spoiled. I explained that rice poisoning can be dangerous, especially for tourists who have delicate stomachs. The guy kept contradicting me, saying that the rice was good, that they prepare little and that it rotates quickly. I told him it's 11 at night. At this time the food does not rotate as quickly as the rice begins to spoil two hours after it is ready. In some countries it is illegal to serve the rice after a certain time because it spoils and produces specific bacteria that are very harmful. The guy seemed to believe that I didn't want to pay for the soup because I told him sir, I'm not interested in paying for the soup or not, I'm telling him because it's serious, he continued clinging to the fact that it wasn't bad... The rice was sticky, smelling bad. and acid... I paid for my soup and left without even receiving an apology for the bad experience since for him that was good. Unfortunately it is not a reliable place late at night. I have been cooking for 38 years and I know if something is going wrong. I am a housewife and I would like to know if that "supervisor or manager" would even know how to boil water. Because if you don't know when rice is rancid and much less accept it, imagine what's left for the rest of the meal.
