Siete Granos is on the list of Panama's speciality coffee roasters. The coffee is a bit hidden but don't let that fool you. You would definitely be missing out. If you don't want to go to San Francisco, there are other locations in Costa del Este and El Cangrejo.
Unfortunately I only visited for a quick energy-stop to get a cappuccino. As I walked in I immediately liked the design of this gem - the barista greeted me in a friendly manner. As we know this is not always the case in Panamá City.
Old lamps hanging from the ceiling, the patterned floor and attractive wooden tables make the interior of this coffee shop particularly appealing. The coffee bar is built with antique ‚box door details’. This shows the attention to detail - which is probably also reflected in the products.
To get to Siete Granos by car you have to drive up from 68th Street in San Francisco. The inconspicuous sign makes it difficult to spot immediately, but it's worth it because the quality of the service is as good as the drinks. Go there and enjoy pour-overs, coffees and more!...

The passion and knowledge with which the owner talks coffee is infectious, and the communal atmosphere between everyone working and all patrons makes this a vibrant, must-visit place. But most importantly, quality is the driving force here and it shows in everything they do. There is so much attention to detail and you will taste this in your cup.
I had a Geisha Natural pourover which was incredible, after which they brewed a Geisha Washed just so I could taste the difference, which we shared amongst all the staff present. I also tried a straight up espresso which was sensational.
