Alphonse Bar — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

I reserved for 7pm as it was all that was available, i contacted the bar by WhatsApp asking can we arrive by 7.45pm and was told it was imposible that night. I understand the bar is trying to look busy and full but we had to rush to go into an empty bar. The tables started filling up around 8.30pm and the bar was never full once all night. The host done a great job to make us feel like we were going to a really amazing place. But I have to say the host was also the one who had the really great service. Other than him the service was average at best. The food menu is small but the food is really good. But again your good is only as good as the server. We had food but could not get a drink in a half full bar. The bar has some really great staff and others 😉. Muy mala experiencia, la peor sin duda. Realice reservación oportuna y llegue a la hora acordada. Mientras disfrutaba con mi pareja una anfitriona se acercó y sin siquiera saludar nos dice: Ustedes tienen reserva a lo que respondo que si y le muestro la conversación con su central donde se realizo la reserva, pensé que la situación termino con mi respuesta y a los minutos llega otro personal y solicita que debo retirarme que mi hora termino ciertamente inaudito a lo que le pregunto si tambien la hora de las personas que estaban a mi costado tambien termino ya que estaban antes y nadie se acerco a solicitar que se retiren y no supo responder. Luego llego el supervisor o encargado del bar y continuo con lo mismo y no les importo que tenga una reservación y siga sus protocolos insistieron a que me retire. Todo ello nos ocasiono a mi pareja y a mi el peor momento en tantos años que tenemos saliendo realice el pago de lo consumido y deje las bebidas sin terminar. Es la peor experiencia que sufrí en mi vida no recomiendo por nada el lugar. No fue la primera vez en ir a ese Bar o al Westin ya que asisto frecuentemente a Maras y al Bar en mención pero esta oportunidad la experiencia fue un asco. Considero que deberian cambiar a esas tres personas ya que no saben solucionar conflictos. Presente un reclamo formal por Discriminación y daño moral a lo que la respuesta del Administrador fue: "le podemos ofrecer un desayuno" como si un desayuno fuera suficiente para dejar pasar tremenda humillación. Tuesday night is Jazz from 8-10 pm. We enjoyed the vocals of a very entertaining singer (See video). Food was limited but good. Drinks were divine, dahling.
