REVIEW; Restaurante “El Parrillero”, Lima, Peru From the moment that we were sat at our table at el Parrillero restaurant we were absolutely enthralled with the deep Peruvian atmosphere around us. el Parrillero is a steakhouse in the San Ysidro District of lima. We ordered the Argentinian baby beef ribeye Steak. We also ordered the salad with Italian oil and vinegar dressing. As a side, the steak came with a potato of our choice which we made baked potato. Willian Zuta, our server told us that the potato was called “ Papa Horno con Queso” which was a baked potato with mozzarella cheese over the top of it. Both the salad and the potatoes were fantastic. The salad had iceberg lettuce tomato of very nice cut of onion and a wonderful avocado over the top of it. The salad was served in a very nice serving bowl. That reminded me of my mothers, serving bowls. My wife and I both enjoyed the salad very much. The potato was fantastic with his mozzarella dripping literally off of every portion of the potato. When it came to the steak, OMG! It was fantastic! Very nice cut and cooked to aphenomenal perfection!! We both had Coca-Cola‘s for our beverage as we don’t drink Alcohol.
Read moreThe parrilla (photo 1) was delicious with a very nice grill flavor. The parrilla included six anticuchos, two befe de chorizo (steak), one pork chop, a chicken breast, two sausages, a salad, and fried potatoes. Also, the fettuccine was cheesy and tasty (photo 3). With this stated, the steaks had too way too much fat (photo 2). This was completely unexpected at this type of restaraunt. Although the restaraunt was a little loud inside with about half the tables full, the seating was comfortable. The service was very good inside the restaurant and outside with the...

We started out with Mollejas and Mushrooms. Delicious. Then followed with Entraña and Vacío. Exquisite. The meat was cooked to perfection, just how we ordered. A couple of wines and some cocktails and the night was just perfect. Great place to unwind and enjoy...
