Embarcadero 41 — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

We went here for appetizers and drinks. The patio is nice. The service is slow it took over 10 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. There were 2 waiters for the very small patio and they kept walking by us with nothing in their hands just ignoring us and talking to one another. We ordered the panko crusted spicy shrimp appetizer and ceviche. The shrimp was good, too much mayonaisse in the sauce and over priced, 59 soles for 6 shrimp. The ceviche was good.

However, here is the sketchy part. We ordered micheladas we like them and were suprised to see them on the menu, since it is not a Peruvian drink. They served them to us in a glass full of ice. We thought it was very strange as we have had them a lot all over Mexico and Colombia and it is never served with ice. We assumed it was for lack of knowledge since again, michelada is not common in Peru. We ordered a second round, and asked this time without ice, and then it became very clear why they used ice. The second round they brought us each a glass with half a beer in it. So the ice was to make the glass look full and disguise that they weren't giving you a whole beer and that they were splitting one beer between 2 glasses. So they were charging 30 soles for one beer with some lime and salt disguised as 2 beers and we did NOT appreciate that kind of deceitful tactic at increasing...

Una terrible experiencia. Hace una semanas me llevaron a comer a ese lugar en San isidro y fue de no creer. Pidieron 2 ceviches los cuales devolvieron porque no tenían sal. Pidieron un tacutacu con lomo saltado a lo pobre, el disque lomo saltado estaba saladooooooo, los plátanos fritos estaban medio crudos, las papas fritas de bolsa . Yo pedí: Una causa embarcadero: causa rellena de pescado, coronada con chicharrón de pescado y salsa de escabeche ( o algo así) Venían 4 chicharroncitos arriba, completamente sopeados en la salsa de escabeche,( nada crocantes) llegamos a la causa y por fuera se veía normal , al empezar a comer me doy con la sorpresa de que el relleno estaba colocado principalmente en el borde y todo el centro está practicamente pintado de relleno, pregunté al mozo si así servían la causa ahí? Me dijo que no, que era un error y me prepararon otro, este segundo plato llegó con 5 chicharroncitos, pero el interior era exactamente igual relleno solo por fuera, pregunté si esto era una cámara escondida? Porque no lo podia creer, pedí retiren el plato y ya no traigan otro igual. Luego llegó un lomo saltado clasico en terminó 3/4 especificando claramente no esté salado, llegó el plato y ohhh sorpresa el peso de esa carne no llegaba ni a 100 gr y en terminó cocidoooo y salado! Y con un refuerzo de papas fritas de bolsa, a lo cual reaccione llamando al mozo y preguntándole en qué terminó estaba la carne ? A lo que el respondió que no era el terminó correcto, pedí que se lleven el plato y no me traigan nada mas. Para un plato que costaba casi S/ 60.00 es imperdonable. Lo mejor de todo fue...
