Ahora que después de los 80's Corea es el nuevo Japón, hay que probar su comida. Una propuesta bien equilibrada entre picante, sanito y sabroso.

Cómo Mexa me llamo mucho la atención que usan la lechuga como si fuera tortilla, en particular unos trozos cocidos o fritos de panza de cerdo (barriga, no tripa) en hoja de lechuga con una salsa roja que no sé que contenían resultaban particularmente ligeros y sabrosos. Es necesario sentarse a la mesa con la mente abierta y la lengua bien dispuesta a vivir nuevas experiencias, las "pastas" basadas en harina de arroz son frecuentes en las sopas y los guisos, su consistencia es más gomosa que firme, sin ser desagradable, solo inesperada, y realmente no batallas para masticar y comer.

Hay muchos platos de acompañamiento, arroz, espinacas, frijol negro, hongos varios, tubérculos y vegetales, y por supuesto el famoso "Kimchi". Este último lo percibí como una ensalada con aderezo, un poco dominante un sabor parecido al ajo y a la cebolla, sin embargo asienta muy fresco, incluso como para acompañar un buen taco de bistec.

Pues ya, de todo hay que conocer y el lugar es bastante ceñido a las costumbres coreanas, así que la comida se sirve en mesas dentro de habitaciones numeradas, válgame, para su poco educado servidor parecía un hotel para comer. Las meseras vuelan de un lado a otro para llevar platillos y regresar con la loza vacía. Eso sí, no los más atentos ni serviciales, tal vez por ser fecha u hora pico, pero a mí no hubo como convencer a una mesera de que me llevará palillos y lo único que hizo fue darme un tenedor. De forma similar, tuvimos que levantarnos a buscar los platos para servirnos.

Tal vez sea la vivencia al puro estilo Coreano pero al menos en el terruño somos más demandantes en cuanto a atención. Y bueno, al final todo se resume a vivir la experiencia y no quedarse con las dudas...
