Buenavista Café. — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Nice cafe, good brownies. But I ask for a lemon pie, it came in a jar which is fine, but the merengue on the top had like a pieces of sugar, not nice at all, so we talked about that to the waitress, she said I can do anything but let me ask the manager, which is understandable. When the manager came and we said the problem, he said: así es nuestro pie de limón" with no manners, so we said but this is wrong, it isn't supposed to be like that, so maybe it was made in a wrong way or was to much time prepared. We understand those things happened, but not reason to be mad, or not be curious about the problem they have, or even to try their own product. So he repeat that's the way our lemon pie is, so we insisted, he was angry, was uncomfortable moment, then he took the dessert and leave saying nothing. All that in a moment ruin the experience of my friends and me. Minutes later he came and said, we tried you were right, no sorry, but he said what would you like instead, we said the brownie that was good. We stayed a little longer and the we leave, and pay for everything but the pie of course. No any discount or any courtesy at all. Well after all we just wanted to enjoy the view an have a good time. Unfortunately it wasn't the case. I also remember I want a beer, the don't have it...

I went to this place on Dec 22, 2022. Asked for a 'lomito ahumado' and got a smoked HAM (jamón ahumado). When I mentioned the waitress it was not what I asked for, she replied it was what I asked. I then emphasized it wasn't with a really disrespectful attitude, following with a 'don't raise your voice to me', twice. letting me my jaw to drop. I felt like 'what's going here'. Then she turned back and walked away talking to herself. Fortunately, one or two minutes later came close to my table another waiter who said they would not charge the sandwich. The point here is that 1) The disrespectful girl should be trained to treat people well, 2) the Cafe should have photos of what they actually offer in order to avoid any confusion. On the other hand, the surroundings (specially the 'green floor') were not clean enough. The view per-se is beautiful (and free) but that is not enough in order to be a good...
