I have spent years in and out of Cusco trying all of the sushi I can. This was by far the most delicious, beautiful and amazing food of any kind I have ever had in Cusco. I don't even remember the last time I enjoyed dinner this much. Everything was presented so beautifully and artfully, the flavors astounded me and there was clearly so much love and care taken in the cooking process. The owner was really wonderful, accommodating and kind. He veganized everything for us perfectly. The staff was lovely as well. I would give my experience at Gambatte 100 stars if I could and recommend it to everyone; especially fellow vegans. This food and experience was so memorable. Just woah in the very best way. This restaurant was absolutely delicious. We had the tiniest mishap with a bit of a wait, but I think they wanted things to come out right. They sent someone out to apologize, but the food was so delicious we forgot about the wait. My daughter isn’t a big eater and she ordered a second roll. The lomo Saltado was delicious. The lychee drink and pink lemonade were both refreshing. Everything from beginning to end was so tasty. They gave us a delicious complimentary dessert to apologize for the wait which was not needed, but it was delicious and we enjoyed it! Not far from the airport, a restaurant waiting to be discovered! really really recommended!! During our stay in the Cusco suburbs, my fiancé and I happened upon Gambatte restaurant quite by accident. We were greeted by a dimly lit room and discovered a varied menu, all traditional Japanese dishes. Unexpected! We were delighted with the dishes with genuine, essential and tasty flavours. The sushi we tasted was hand made with high quality ingredients. They really amazed us a lot and we won't forget them! even the traditional tea is not to be missed!
