"All you can eat" - it's like it's not really... We came from a long journey and we were really hungry, but I and some of our companions only wanted the beef belly 😔. There were 7 of us who availed of the "all you can eat," but it didn't seem like all you can eat. We had to finish the first plate they served, which was marinated pork with no beef belly or plain beef in sight. However, it's listed first on their menu. I asked the server if they could bring out the beef, but she said we needed to finish the first plate with the pork. Just to clarify, it's on the menu and listed first that it should come with the beef belly. I said okay, but my companions got tired because the marinated pork, especially the curry, wasn't that good. I called the server again to ask if they could bring out the beef, but she said there was still some pork on our plate that we needed to finish. Again, it's listed first on your menu and should come with the beef belly, but it wasn't on our plate. I got frustrated with the server and asked her to call the manager. I needed to have the manager called just to get some beef, but here's the worst part: since there were 7 of us, they only gave a few pieces on the first plate for all of us. Is that how it works? Were you mad, miss? I lost my appetite, the mood was ruined, we were hungry from the journey and traffic, and the vibe with my companions was spoiled. You'd just end up cursing the service we experienced. I'm not saying don't eat here. They have other dishes I haven't tried. For now, this is my review. Maybe if they improve, I'll consider coming back. It's quite far from where I am. But this was my first-time experience, and the service was terrible. Not all high ratings are accurate.
Food 1/5. Service 1/5. Atmosphere 5/5. Price 1/5 - not great, not good, not okay.
I'm just wondering why they have a 4.9 rating. Will I come back? Yes, maybe I'll try their other dishes. I tried to be patient, but I called multiple times to get the beef belly, but it never came. They said we had to finish what they served first. It was running out, and my companions were already annoyed and frustrated. I hope you don't include a service charge if the customer isn't satisfied. We were generous, willing to pay more if the service was good, but it wasn't. We ended up paying Php 1.5k each for that kind of service. It's disappointing, considering the high rating and having such servants. I just let it go because we were really tired from the long journey, and then this. The worst samgyupsal...
Read moreBugogi Brothers is an excellent Korean restaurant that offers a wide range of delicious dishes. Recently, I had the opportunity to try their new spicy beef and tofu stew, and I must say that it was absolutely amazing! The combination of tender beef, spicy broth, and silky tofu was a real treat for my taste buds. It was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of heat to give it a little kick.
Another dish that I tried was their cheesy teokbokki. The dish consisted of chewy rice cakes smothered in a creamy cheese sauce that was both savory and slightly sweet. The dish had a perfect balance of textures and flavors, making it a real delight to eat.
But what really made my experience at Bulgogi Brothers memorable was the exceptional service provided by Alex and Jen. They were both very friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. They were extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.
Overall, I would highly recommend Bugogi Brothers to anyone looking for great Korean food and exceptional service....
Read moreAfter 2 years of pandemic we finally visited evia again, we usually eat at tepanya but the two hour wait was not worth it.. So we tried the bulgogi brothers beside it.. Food was good.. But not the perfect experience.. The electric conduction heater i had to plug it again for 3 times coz the wire plug is kicked easily below the table.. Was a hassle coz we noticed there was no heating so cooking was interrupted.. Then our meal was half way through and our order bibimpop was not yet served. We followed up once, then twice before they told us the order was not punched or encoded. Then they asked if to cancel or wait for 4 min. I didnt answer but they still served it. My two kids enjoyed the food.. But for me charcoal grill is more authentic than electric conduction heater. The kaya in westgate seems more authentic.. For the price they are charging.. I give 3.5...
