AMBIENCE & LOCATION We found them across Bake My Day, the bakery that goes 50% off near the escalator (towards the circle of the mall) in the evening. About ten minutes was our waiting time so we ended up browsing through breads. After heading back, I noticed high-chairs were available for playful children. We were seated at the outer part of the restaurant but it was a bit smelly, although it seemed tolerable since the rest of us didn't seem that bothered by it. Condiments parts of the table also needed cleaning.

BEVERAGE We just had service water but adding the lemon slices made it interesting.

FOOD Deep-fried Chicken with Crispy Garlic was just okay while Deep-fried Squid with Spicy Salt & Pepper was delicious for the first couple of bites, but it got too salty later on. Coating was also too thick to finish halfway and chips were so-so.

Xiao Long Bao was very hot inside but eating with a regular or congee spoon was slightly difficult because of their small sizes. At least Siumai, Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet, and Modern Shanghai Seafood Fried Rice were typical favorites that ran out quickly.

CUSTOMER SERVICE 0/1000 🤮 We went there last night and had a terrible experience. Imagine, we dined in at their Evia branch for dinner. We were assisted by two female receptionists wearing red. They took our order and seated us, but we were made to wait for almost an hour. They served the customers who arrived after us first, which was really disappointing. We followed up with them twice, but they just said that they didn't take our order properly. There were so many staff members there, but not a single one bothered to ask if our order was okay. They didn't even serve us water properly.

I hope you hire competent staff. It's a shame that the branch's reputation is being tarnished because of the incompetence of the people you hired.Even the manager didn't apologize, we didn't hear anything from them. The receptionists were even acting ignorant. What's the point of having receptionists if they're just for show and don't know how to do their job? Never again, no matter which...

Gusto ko lang mag review publicly sa restaurant na ito na nakakapikon sa napakatagal na service kahit wala naman masyadong tao. Bumubulong na service crew kapag may sinasabi ka at napaka-panget na lasa ng pagkain parang palengke lasa yung filling ng shanghai grabe

I don’t normally complain pero hanep napakamahal ng pagkain dito para sa small portion ng food tapos hindi talaga masarap nakakapikon! Hindi ko na napicture-an kasi bukod sa hindi sya appetizing, nawalan ako ng gana. Napapailing nalang ako at sa kalagitnaan ng pagkain nawalan talaga ako ng gana. Parang pagkain lang ng isang tao yung beans with ground pork na sunog at sobrang mamantikang pork buns para akong nag lilipgloss ng langis ng lechon hanep.

Ang bottomless iced tea, di ka pwedeng bumili ng hindi bottomless kaya automatic refillable ang iced tea mo pero ang tagal bago mag refill kasi magtitimpla pa daw ano baaaaaa yung totoo

Nakakabadtrip lalo na dumating yung bill may 20% off nga dahil sa BFF bistro card pero ang laki pa din ng need bayaran ok lang sana kahit mahal kung masarap pero takte kahit 500 ang presyo ng bill magrereklamo pa din ako kasi grabe sobrang scam. Nakakairita.

Sabi nalang ng ate ko, atleast natry at charge to experience nalang. Tagal ko pa naman gusto matry dito kasi mukhang masarap ang pagkain, sana nag hap chan nalang kami.

Ang soup, ang mahal hindi masarap! Ang pork buns, shanghai at beans hindi masarap!!!!! Ang konti ng serving! Pang rabbit anak ng tokwa

Also, di ako pala-leave ng feedback pero pagbayad namin ng bill talagang sinabi ko “pwede ba mag leave ng feedback? Hindi masarap ang pagkain nyo.” Hindi ko talaga napigilan sa sobrang inis ko.

“Ma’am pasensya na po, kasi Modern Shanghai na po kami meaning hindi na po traditional chinese food, may filipino twist na po. Ibang chinese nga po sabi nila hindi masarap.”

Hindi ba dapat mas masarap na kasi meron na filipino twist? Understandable di magustuhan ng chinese pero dapat kuha ang panlasa namin kasi pilipino naman kami grabe ganun ba yun kasi modern shanghai di na dapat masarap.

Grabe sobrang scam ng pagkain dito. Maiiyak ka nalang.

Ang 300 pesos na serving pang isang tao lang kulang pa ata. Ang soup naiserve na ng malamig. Ang shanghai rolls ang kapal ng wrapper. Nakaupo na kami, kutsara at tinidor wala pa. Nagjoke pa ang ate ko kung kakamayin ba namin yung sabaw. Grabe talaga

Di ka pwede kumain dito ng gutom ka kasi puputi mata mo kakaintay. Yung sinerve sayong kanin nauna pa sa ulam, naubos mo na kanin kakakapapak mo kahit butil butil mo pa papakin yung kanina, yung ulam wala pa. Hinuhuli pa ata yung baboy, grabe nakakairita.

Grabe kung pwede to irate ng -100, yan dapat ang rate nyo, juskupo sayang pera. Mas masarap pa ako magluto kung di lang ako pagod, ako magluluto sa kusina nyo ng kakainin...
