Popeyes Evia — Restaurant in 2nd District

The food was great, but the staff? Not so much. They were very unaccommodating, especially the girl at the cashier. During our visit, she was irritable and unfriendly. As a cashier, she should be trained to smile and greet customers, as they are the frontline of the restaurant and set the tone for the customer experience. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any smile or comfort from her. This lack of professionalism was particularly disappointing because it stood out even more against the backdrop of a generally positive dining experience.

This is the only Popeyes I've been to with a "one time gravy refill" policy, which was already a bit off-putting. I usually go out of my way to thank staff who are kind and accommodating, but I can't tolerate the attitude we encountered from this cashier. I understand that everyone has their own problems, but it is important not to bring personal issues to work, especially in a role that involves direct customer interaction. Popeyes is an okay restaurant to grab a quick bite because of how fast their service is.

Although some parts are self-service such as obtaining utensils & taking out your food, it is all understandable.

A slight issue recently occured where the staff called me to pick-up my order when it was incomplete. My younger brother ordered a C3 (Chicken & Spaghetti), and it wasn't given to us, so I went back to grab it. When they served it, another issue came to light when gravy wasn't served together with it. Due to that experience, I have lowered my rating. I hope issues like this are resolved soon.

Another issue has come to light when me, my brother, and my dad received 3 chicken burgers that were burnt. Despite it tasting okay, this should not have happened. I hope they cook their food...

The chicken was quite salty nothing too exciting. If you ever had the infamous jolibee chickenjoy i would suggest that you stick to that. The chicken meat was reddish so i don't know if that would be the intended color or not. Also the biscuit that is included in the meal even with the syrup was just tasteless. The 2 piece chicken btw does not include rice so you'd spend around 85 php for the cajun rice which had a decent taste. Service wise it was really slow for a fast food joint even the grab driver at that time was telling their crew that the order was already 40 min. ago and was told that it still wasn't ready. The ambiance would be it's saving grace because it's in evia so that should already be a given. Not worth the hype nor the price...
