We came here at 11 am on a Sunday and we were the first customers.
We ordered beef pho, pork bbq banh mi, fresh and fried spring roll, and shrimp banh mi to go cause we’re too full to eat it.
Service was slow but maybe bec they’re still prepping.. tho they’re Google info said they open at 10am. The place and it’s restroom is clean, staff are nice, it’s just that it took a long time before our meal was served.
The spring rolls and pork bbq banh mi were good, my hubby liked them, but the beef pho was a miss. We thought it was so good cause it smells nice when it was served. There were 3 of us who shared but hindi man lang namin nakalahati ang beef pho. Something’s missing with it, it lacked saltyness or it lacked beef flavor. I really hope they’d figure it out. The shrimp banh mi, is just okay, the pork bbq tastes better.
It’s still worth a try considering the prices are cheaper than popular Vietnamese restos. We also had Vietnamese iced coffee which tasted right not too sweet.
We won’t be back for the pho tho the other dishes are worth a try.
The place was almost packed at noon time.
We love discovering delicious food and going to places that lets you connect with nature. Watch our full review on our vlog/channel: THE CANDY...

I’ve been craving for vietnamese dishes and saw this on a friend’s instagram story (told everyone its a must try), finally had the chance to visit and I can say that its worth a visit.
Food (4/5) - Broth tastes nice, it has a lot of herbs (silantro) and veggies that makes the soup delightful. I’m not sure if everyone will enjoy the taste of silantro if this is your first time trying Pho, you might want to add it on the side. There were also seeds which I suppose are cardamom seeds in the broth which is I think is not supposed to be in my bowl. It was served with a little bit of Sriracha and Oyster sauce on the side.
Service (4.5/5) - I wasn’t greeted with any staff as I walked in, I had to go to the counter to find myself a table. Cold water was served right away and I had to wait 10 mins for my bowl to be served.
Place (5/5)- they have accessible parking, the place was airconditioned and spacious. I had trouble finding the place but it’s right beside noyski and makimoto.
Is it worth trying the second time? Yes! I haven’t tried anything in the menu besides their Pho. If you happen to see my review and tried this place, might as well share...
Read moreSuch a big disappointment this restaurant is. I wonder if the Chef had undergone training in Vietnamese cuisine. The fried spring roll contained vermicelli and ground pork that was refried more than once. It tasted strange and I thought of two reasons, one could be the ground pork was refried from old stock, or the oil used was old. Or both. Second, the Pho which is the iconic Vietnamese soup, contained broth that lacked the ingredients basic to Vietnamese cuisine, such as star anis, basil and lime, which give the Pho its flavorful taste. I couldn’t taste the fried ginger and onions at all. What I tasted was “nilagang karne”. Not even, because the broth was diluted with much water. I could hardly taste the broth that was supposed to have been boiled from beef bones. I understand that the owner of this restaurant should make profits. But please, not at the expense of scrimping on basic ingredients. The Chef and his assistants should undergo serious training. I love Vietnamese cuisine and I was truly disappointed with how this restaurant presented itself to the food enthusiasts especially those who have significant experience in that particular cuisine. As the name suggests, this restaurant should...
