Been eating there for quite some time, from their old branch to the new one. The portion sizes for meat are small but that's a given since this is 24 hours and they grill the meat for you.
L The grilling is good, you can tell the staff how you want it done. L Things to note: Staff is slightly unresponsive, so you gotta get their attention, I don't see any call buttons so it becomes a slight issue if you're shy to raise your voice your move your hands around. L2. It gets cold and hot, depends on the location you pick, so best to check where to sit. But if you're stuck infront of the aircon it helps to have a jacket.
Aside from that you can eat the side dishes like crazy, they will get refilled but their is limit to how many though, but if you munch on them all. You're nearly full anyway. The tofu soup is good, and pumpkin deserts are great.
It becomes good value when you combine sides dishes with the meat. And is actually healthy versus munching on all fat.
Overall, it's been my goto place for dining out and it being 24 hours is...
Read moreJung’s Kitchen delivers that classic samgyupsal dining experience we all crave. The atmosphere is cozy and very much like the typical Korean barbecue spots, giving you that authentic vibe as soon as you walk in. The food itself is satisfying — the quality of the meat is good, flavorful, and served fresh. What really stands out are the side dishes: they’re varied, well-prepared, and complement the grilled meats perfectly. It’s great that they also give you the option of whether you want the staff to cook for you or if you’d rather do it yourself, which makes the experience flexible depending on your mood. Service is also a strong point here. The staff are attentive, friendly, and quick to refill side dishes or assist with grilling when needed. Portion sizes are fair, and the value for money is definitely there. Overall, Jung’s Kitchen is a solid spot for Korean BBQ lovers — whether you’re going for a casual lunch, dinner with friends, or just craving that unlimited samgyupsal experience, it...
Read moreWe were compelled to dine in this place bcos there were a lot of Korean customers dining in. We just wanted to explore Korea Town spontaneously and ended up in this place. The meat selection were great, the ones we ordered which were Beef Brisket, Pork Ribs and Marinated Belly Steak all tasted so good! Serving wise the quantity is generous especially for the side dishes. We ordered soups like the cold noodle soup and kimchi jjigae (my personal fave).
Service-wise, it was fine. I guess staff were trained to only communicate to the male guests rather than their companions. They pay extra attention to men and basically only catering to the needs of my partner and not asking me if I need anything else. But I made sure to navigate the situation. Pretty...
