FOOD IS GOOD, NO QUESTION, BUT THE COMPETENCE OF THEIR STAFF IS NONEXISTENT. THIS HAPPENED TWICE ALREADY. THEIR SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT IS NOT CORRECT ALL THE TIME, AND THE REASON THEY WILL GIVE SENIOR CITIZENS IS “MA’AM, SORRY, THIS IS DUE TO OUR SYSTEM.” SYSTEM!? THEY DON’T KNOW HOW TO MANUALLY COMPUTE YOUR BILL AND THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF DISCOUNT, AND THE STAFF HAVE THE AUDACITY TO GUILT-TRIP SENIOR CITIZENS BY SAYING “MA’AM, BAYARAN NA LANG NAMON.” HOW CAN YOU CHARGE WRONG ITEMS SUCH AS COKE AND OTHER MEALS, YET WHEN YOUR ATTENTION IS CALLED, INSTEAD OF A LOWER TOTAL PRICE, IT INCREASED BY A LARGE MARGIN — THEN YOU GAVE THE WRONG CHANGE FOR THE SECOND TIME IN THE SAME TRANSACTION/INCIDENT — AND THE MANAGER CAN’T BE BOTHERED AT THAT TIME SINCE HER EXCUSE WAS THAT SHE WAS TALKING TO THEIR SUPPLIER. THIS WAS OUR GO-TO RESTO IN AYALA MALL, BUT NOT ANYMORE DUE TO THE INCOMPETENCE OF THEIR STAFF. WE WILL ALSO REPORT THIS INCIDENT TO THE BIR TO LOOK INTO THIS ESTABLISHMENT SINCE THEY’RE NOT GIVING THE PROPER DISCOUNTS THAT SENIOR CITIZENS ARE...

We explained to the waitress that our food was cold and we asked why? The waitress explained that their kitchen has a window that is open to allow ventilation when it gets busy. Our food was probably hot for a bit but cooled down pretty quickly due to the window. She apologized and offered to reheat our food. We took the offer, but it didn't change much when the platter came back. Thanks, but no thanks. I would not recommend it if you...
Read moreI'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Bigby’s Metro Ayala, which has always been my go-to spot for salads in Bacolod. I ordered the Fruits and Nuts Salad with chicken, but my meal was ruined when I discovered something unusual in my salad.
When I brought it to the waitress's attention, she shifted the blame to the kitchen department, although she did apologize and offer a replacement. Unfortunately, I had lost my appetite. To their credit, they only charged me for my mango shake. However, as I was leaving, another staff member apologized again, but also deflected responsibility to the kitchen department.
The lack of accountability and poor handling of the situation has left a bad taste...
