Think twice if you want to be there. It was ok. The room had enough space for 2 persons. The beds were, for me, very uncomfortable with hard mattresses. Noisy all the time, inside the hotel and even worse outside, my window was facing yo the parking place. Bathroom and shower very little space. It was clean, which is very good. Service from the hotel was polite but not necessarily nice or smiling, they seemed to be tired or bored. The breakfast was included in the price, but the service was terrible. Many mistakes or lack of common sense. For example, I ordered an espresso and they brought me brewed coffee, in a normal cup, even if I went to the bar and explained I want espresso single shot and not brewed coffee. I rejected it and they brought the small cup with something similar as an espresso. Next day the fruit was a xtremely hard papaya, we tried again when they filled again the fruit and this time the taste of the papaya, had onion taste. Terrible! The people working at this restaurant was not polite, no smiles. On the other side of the restaurant was typical food for Philippine breakfast, I took plain rice for my omelet, but it tasted old and it was cold. At lunch time I ordered a vegetarian sandwich and Calamandi juice, it took about 40 minutes until it came to my table. Sandwich was filled with 2 slices of cucumber and 2 slices of tomato. French fries a very small portion and a mayonnaise sauce. When I wanted to pay I almost just fainted! I had to pay 500 PHP for that! Not...
Read moreBeing located at the heart of City of Smiles is one of its advantage; where church, malls, and other attractions are just steps away it's really undeniable that GT Hotel is one of the best value hotels in the metro. I can say that foods are great, desserts are highly commendable and have reasonable prices. They also have function rooms and very accommodating sales and marketing, food & beverage, housekeeping, and front office staff. On top of that, this hotel has a spacious parking lot where you can really say that they value their guests' security and safety because they have guards on duty and the area is covered with cctv cameras. Furthermore, hotel room rates truly prove its value. Rooms are clean and well maintained and room attendants are all nice and friendly. Checking in on time has never been an issue because front office staff secures room availability upon guests' arrival and if not available, they make offer that the guest/s can leave their things at the concierge and will be immediately informed if room is already available. May GT Hotel Bacolod continues to deliver good customer service and be more driven to excel in hotel and hospitality industry. This hotel is always "a home, away...
Read moreWe stayed for 2 weeks in GT Hotel because our hometown was affected by Odette and there was no electricity, everything was very good until the last hours of our stay where we were forced to check out eventhough we have scheduled a PAID extended stay. We were advised that someone will occupy the room. What infuriated me most was I wasn't told earlier by Wella the front desk officer at that time who even saw us went out of the hotel 2 hours before the check out, that they confirmed a booking though we already talked a night before that we are extending and paying for an extension of 2-3 hours. ||||She called me to confirm our check out and I told her of our expected checkout as agreed the night before but I was told that we have to vacate the room at 2pm because someone will arrive to check in. They made it sound that there were no other family rooms other than ours than can be occupied even though the hotel was not really fully booked.||||We totally love the service of the other staff but this one incident made a huge negative impression to us. GT Hotel became our home for that two-week stay in the typhoon devastated province. Just so disappointed how...
