Hanok Authentic Korean Restaurant — Restaurant in Bacolod

We keep going back for the Osam Bulgogi (Awesome! Sorry couldn't help it.) and cheese gyeran mari. That's good for two. And we end it with an ice cream sandwich (bill comes to around 700php total). For a Korean resto in Bacolod, they have a wider menu - samgyumpsal (choose if unlimited or not), chicken (good for 3-4pax, wish they had it in smaller serving), beef, pork, seafood, ramen and your other fave Korean dishes. This place fills up quickly, even on weeknights. And parking is limited. Better come here early. And call to reserve for big groups, especially on weekends. Otherwise you'd have to wait to be seated. And they close every first Monday...

In a general perspective (because I’m not Korean haha), I find the quality and taste of Hanok’s food pretty above-average (the kind that gives you cravings) in terms of taste and quality as compared to most Korean restaurants you’ll find within the city.

Taste-wise, I’m not really the one to judge on their authenticity. But I personally enjoyed their meals, especially the cheese tteokboki. 😄 Although on the pricey side, I recommend to try their food. It also helps that the food was of big serving size. Even the side dishes were delicious. It’s worth it!

Not sure what authentic Korean food is supposed to taste like but Hanok is just delicious regardless. Currently it's the only place in Bacolod that serves jajangmyeon, so that's a plus.

The waiters are polite and efficient and they don't skimp on side dishes either.
