Khokoon Inn — Hotel in Bacolod

Quite affordable rates (between 900 to 1300 per room) and because the building is relatively new, the rooms are pretty clean. The rooms come with hot and cold showers though a few rooms may not offer hot showers so best confirm ahead. The air conditioning units work well and standard rooms offer extra beds at a reasonable price. Accommodations include flat screen television sets but some do have issues with the remote control, which is a minor thing to consider really when you’re there primarily to rest for a night or so only. And the crew are friendly and very polite. They unfortunately don’t offer free breakfast but there’s a convenience store in the same building on the ground floor beside the entrance so you can easily get the basics. Great place if you ever find yourself in Bacolod and need a place to stay...

Great staff! After we checked in there were a lot of ants on the bed. We decided to take showers first. But still after one hour we decided to check out because the ants made us very itchy. And we were bitten by the ants also! When we were checking out (because no available room), the counter told us they will return the payment without any charge! Very considerate, very good service.

The room is new but the shower faucet is not strong enough. Sometimes the pressure is not strong enough so that the heater didn't operate. Besides the room is very state-of-the-art. They use card key instead of heavy traditional key. It was loud because our room was the last one and very close to the road, but I think other rooms are not as noisy as it was.

Rooms are clean and worth the price. Comfort room is neat (but the towel rack was hung up very high as well as the shower head). The faucet wasn't running but cups were provided so we could just get water for brushing teeth from the dispenser in the lobby. They were responsive on Facebook which made booking and inquiries easy and convenient. They are walking distance from the main road so it is easy for commuters but there aren't a lot of choices for nearby restaurants or cafes especially...
