The overall experience felt like an episode from Kitchen Nightmares. A waste of time and money.
First of all, when we sat at the table, nobody gave us a menu, no water, no service at all.
Secondly, the waitress was rude in entertaining customers. It didn't feel like she wanted to serve people.
Third, we ordered Beef Biryani (good for sharing, Php550) which looked like a drunkard's vomit. It looked like someone puked beef pares all over a pile of basmati rice. NOT AUTHENTIC AT ALL. We then ordered their Arabic Chicken Shawarma (for sharing, Php210) which also was disgusting. In their menu, there was a picture of 6pcs of cut shawarma, so we complained. We then figured out that their Chicken Shawarma (Php110) and their Arabic Chicken Shawarma (Php210) was the same piece of garbage, but with fries. VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Lastly, when we were about to pay, the owner miscalculated our bill. I had to correct her because honestly, I would NEVER pay a single cent more for the ridiculously disappointing experience we had at their restaurant.

I came back to try veg biryani. As you can see, the portion size can feed two hungry people. The problem is the biryani itself. The rice is quite wet, and I don't think it's because of the chickpea curry. The flavors are bland and taste something out of a pre-packaged biryani masala. I'm disappointed with the lack of variety in vegetables as well. All there is in the dish is chickpeas and a few sliced cucumbers on the side. I could have just got myself a similar dish with bolder flavors at half the cost with chickpea curry and rice. A minor detail: the chili sauce tastes like spicy ketchup. Not a huge fan of the sweetness.
Overall, the vegetarian biryani is not worth the price you pay for it. 2/10...
Read moreSame old Ahmad Brother's eastern cuisine menu but at a location with a better ambiance. This is a better spot compared the their old place at Labsan St. Food is good as always. Staff are mostly friendly. There's a view now (just the busy street intersection though). The garlic sauce is on the sweet side which I find weird. Loved the beef biryani but found the chicken for chicken biryani strange as it is similar to the chicken kebab (grilled). Wasn't able to verify anymore as I got the chicken biryani to go. They have a menu for...
