This restaurant is way overrated & overpriced.

•Food presentation is great. Taste is so-so. What we ordered:

Pork Sinigang - I’ve tasted budget meal sinigangs that tastes so much better & richer than theirs. Serving is really good for 2-3 people. Maraming sabaw. Crispy Kare-kare - Not even crispy. Medyo sunog lang yung karne. For an ulam with a price over 400+, yung bagoong na kasama ay sobrang konti. As in. Serving is good for 2 people. Camaron Shrimp - Tastes like the fried tempura sa food court. Hot Chocolate - Lasang alak. Cheesy Bibingka - The only thing that’s good.

•Service is VERY disappointing.

The staff who took down our order, forgot to place the Camaron Shrimp, & 1 out of 2 orders of their Cheesy Bibingka. Yung kasama tuloy namin na yun ang order had to wait so long to the point na shinare na lang sakanya yung order namin. Important detail to this point is that we already listed our order sa notepad ng phone so that it’ll be easier for the staff to take down—but he still got it wrong. Camaron shrimp was served nung patapos na kami kumain so pina take out na lang.

SOBRANG hirap kunin ng attention ng staff. ISTG, it’s like they were purposely ignoring us. Gusto lang naman namin ng water refill. Ilang lalaking staff na ang dumaan daan sa amin hindi man lang maka lingon. Sa sobrang uhaw namin I had to go to their station pa to ask for a water refill. Kudos to the lady staff who followed me to our table, and left a water pitcher for us to consume. This lady assisted us from then on.

There’s a guy staff there who came to our table kasi ipapa-take out na yung leftovers, & we asked him to get the bill na. Unfortunately, kinailangan pa i-follow up nung lady staff yung bill namin just so we can pay for our food, & the mug we bought from her.

For a restaurant that charges you WAY too much, they don’t even thank you when you’re about to leave. I understand that there are a lot of people, but we literally walked past a few of their staffs on our way out.

Some of their staffs looks like they are irritated & bored out of their mind. This is the vibe they will give you there (with the exemption of the lady who assisted us at the end).

•Atmosphere is okay.

I just hope that this restaurant would take the negative feedbacks here seriously.

Personally, I will never visit this restaurant again, nor recommend this to family & friends. Sobrang sumakit ulo...

We were able to park right away thanks to the guard. We were seated after 15 minutes which was alright. We ordered breakfast meals and three different kind of tsokolate. The servers were polite and helped follow-up our food but it still took almost an hour for our food to arrive. We also noticed that orders from guests who arrived after us were receiving them earlier than us so we inquired why that was so. The staff could only say that they didn’t know too and they would follow-up.

The loos are unhygienic. The men’s restroom’s flush was not working. The women’s floor was wet.

The trifecta of this unresponsive staff behavior happened when a mouse was seen in the dining area. A staff was informed and the staff also informed the hostess. I saw the hostess brush him away. She was called out to not disregard the concern as it’s a hygiene issue. She replied “I’m allergic.” which we found an inappropriate response because 1) if you’re allergic shouldn’t you be concerned that a mouse was roaming where you are working that could potentially compromise your working condition 2) don’t the customers welfare matter since we are all eating there.

We were disappointed with this response. We informed the restaurant via a private message in their FB page. They apologized and said they would investigate on their end. We didn’t hear after that.

Several reviews of late service and being overpriced seemed to be true. Our bill included service charge which I don’t think they deserve given that service was their obvious weakness.

The food was satisfactory even if it was a little bit cold. The batirol was just okay but not something I would come back for. It was a little too thick and it left an itchy feeling on your throat. The flavors were not distinctive which made ordering three kinds a waste since they all tasted almost the same. I have tried several batirol from different restaurants Breakfast at Antonio’s, Tsokolateria, La Creperie, and Mary Grace to name a few which were thick too but did not have the same effect as Chocolate de Batirol.

You can pay in cash and GCash. They don’t have provisions for credit card. To go here, you can use Google maps or Waze. Do not go during peak hours as it...

Let me tell you this. First of all I went in with a open mind.

I tried their traditional Hot chocolate blend, Baguio blend and Choco coconut blent.

Now the hot chocolate is not as sweet at in America but with some sugar I know it will taste better. Because it has a somewhat bitter taste. They do add a bit of brown sugar but not enough for it to be sweet.

Is it a bad thing? I'm not sure I think it's preference.

I ordered cheese bibingka. I personally think it's ok. No complaints, it's like a salty dessert.

As for lunch.

I ordered the special pancit chamin, buttered chicken, and the grilled squid

For the special pancit chamin, that was pretty good. It was like as if I was eating beef broccoli with noddles and somewhat seafood. It was good. The portion size one person can finish it. But I shared it with the wife and a friend.

The grilled squid. Was good as well. No complaints. The only thing was that it a not as warm as I wanted it to be. But it was good. Just like eating a shrimp cocktail with octopus.

As for the buttered chicken. It was good. The food was hot. It tasted good with the sweet and sour sauce they had or the vinegar.

Now!!! What really caught my attention was the level of service. It was great. There was a couple flys around bc it's in a outside area and I know it can't really be controlled. The server quickly brought over a candle to scare the flys away and it worked after 10 mins. So ask for a candle first.

When we finished our plates they took the plates from us to reduce clutter.

What else can I say. I think was really caught my attention was the act of the server seeing me struggling with the fly and took the initiative to get the flys remove. And it was executive well.

But ask for the candle first. ...
