10|I was intrigued by the photographs of this colorful, Victorian style hotel so we were looking forward to pur overnight stay last Oct. 4! The lobby is a sight to behold! Dazzling Chandeliers, a fairytale like ambiance filled with inviting stuffed sofas and Edwardian furniture, an over abundance of floral motif from the wall paper, the upholstery and the flower arrangements! Our friend commented that it feels like a decorator went over board! Well, it surely gave Kamiseta lots of personality (made our previous hotel look generic and bland). Our breakfast at the Vanilla Cafe was excellent and abundant. We had hot choco and the dollop of cream at the bottom of our cup is a sweet touch. The plate of garlic rice (shaped like a ❤️) with fried bangus, tocino, achara was yummy and filling. We felt like we were in The Mad Hatter's Party in Alice in Wonderland with a beautiful view of the garden. The staff is very gracious and so helpful to my PWD hubby! Thank you to Andrew the guard who was so helped us, Claudine, the friendly front desk lady and Abby the manager who gave us personal care and offered to put us in the room next to the lobby to make it easier for my hubby. Skyler of housekeeping who prepared the extra bed & provided an extension chord...everyone made us feel so at home! We will definitely stay here again the next time we go up to Baguio and will book 2 rooms (the room and bed are comfortable but not roomy enough for 3!). I think that some of the furniture (especially at the Vanilla Cafe) can be freshened up with reupholstery. It has been after 6 years (after their opening) so it needs some updates to keep the pretty look and feel of the hotel. Thank you to the staff for making our stay very...

First of all, we arrived and the “parking lot” was full. We could barely go in as less the 10 cars were cramped infront of the entrance. Upon entering, you’ll see the below photo, yes it is instagrammable to the point of you will be walking in a 12 ft or so width distance of the furnitures. You’ll be greeted by the staff, accommodating enough that they set up an extra bed instrantly as we couldn’t contact them to inform of the 3rd guest. Speaking of contact, you won’t be able to do so as all the numbers posted are unreachable. The room they gave us was adequate for 2 people but small if you’re 3. Not sure if the other rooms are big enough though. We stayed overnight, which I can say is more than enough. The phone in the room can only be used to contact the reception. And when you need to make a local call, the reception won’t be able to help you either as they don’t have the facility or the capacity to do so. The toilet and bath is fair in size and the basic amenities are provided. Upon check in, you will be asked of which breakfast you want to have the following day. The breakfast we chose was enough to fill your tummy and it was yummy! We were not able to try their dessert/coffee shop though. But I would think it would be better if you just come here for that rather than stay in their hotel. Overall, I would recommend the place as it is instagrammable but won’t encourage you to stay in...

The hotel itself was nice, a bit too pretty actually. Location was good, bed was super comfortable.

The room that we stayed at however (Natalie)  was smaller than I expected. It is located just before the lobby so we could hear all the noise of those going in and out of the reception plus those taking photos as it seems to be a fave photo spot.

The girl who showed us in didn't tell us about the secret cabinet so we had nowhere to hang our clothes on and only discovered it when we were about to leave. The toilet & bath was also quite small.

The food in Vanilla Cafe was okay, although the brewed coffee was too watered down, even after we told them to make it a bit stronger the next day. There were sufficient options during the breakfast buffet but they only served instant coffee with it... very disappointing as one would expect excellent coffee in Baguio!! The champorado also smelled and tasted off 😭

And just like a lot of wonderful places, the staff lacked customer service skills. When we went down for bfast, there were 2 ladies talking aloud by the counter, not one of them acknowledged our presence. One was complaining about something and the other one was begging her not to resign. Same story when we entered the small Kamiseta store, there were 3 ladies inside the stock room, nobody came out to assist as they were busy whining about something. I thought that was very...

Kamiseta Hotel is one of those places that you go to, so you can populate your insta with dream-like photos. Interior of the whole place is very 'shabby-chic', love how the print and the pastels and the clashing floral and polka dots work extremely well with the European-style setting. Unfortunately, behind the lovely photos was a not so pleasant experience. We booked through Agoda for the Petra Suite and was given the Cristina Suite instead, when I raised this to the front desk staff I was just told that they can't do anything about it as reservations that comes from Agoda doesn't really specify what room was reserved. I just did not like how they were dismissing my concern by saying that they cannot do anything about it. To much prodding, I learned that the suite room got extended but still we are reserved on the dates specified and they could have just told the guests to change rooms instead. When we arrived at 3pm(Check-in was at 2pm), super tired from Sagada there was no bath towels and bath mats and the fridge was also not working. Most of the tables in the cafe were also quite dirty. It's just sad that a hotel that beautiful can start losing clients because it's unkempt.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On one hand, it's absolutely aesthetic! Everything is so pretty and well-designed—definitely Instagram-worthy! However, I can't ignore that cleanliness is an issue. My aunt accidentally dropped her earrings under the bed and let's just say she was greeted by dust that seems to have been waiting for ages! On the plus side, the amenities are fantastic. They provided a hair dryer and I really enjoyed the complimentary Molton Brown shampoo, conditioner, and soap! Just a little note though: we found ourselves hunting for cups for our toothbrushes. There’s complimentary water, but no glasses in the room. What truly stands out about this place is the staff! 😊 Everyone—from the receptionist to the waitstaff—is friendly and very helpful. Their hospitality greatly enhanced our overall experience. In summary, this hotel has great potential and I hope they can work on their cleanliness issues. I have more stories to share about that, but I’ll keep those to myself for now. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!
