It's true what the other reviewer said. This is Eco Trail, located behind the Paintball place. It's not well maintained. Right at the beginning there are many grassy/leaves on the trail. The unsafe broken wooden bridge is also at the beginning.
As of mid Jan 2023, if you hike here, don't wear shorts, as all the small leaves/grassy blades will touch you because the trail is too narrow. Every step was stepping on plants.
There were many forks on the way which was confusing, and 30 minutes into the trail, the trail path kinda slowly disappeared so I don't even know how/where to continue. So I had no choice but to turn back and not get lost. Because it started to become the off path style.
Another dangerous note, watch your step, because about 25 minutes into the trail, there were some holes on the ground that you do not want to step on otherwise you might fall into the river.
On a positive note, it was very beautiful to be surrounded by pine trees. And the 30 minute hike was not difficult at all, good for beginners (still...
Read moreThere's another trail known as Yellow Trail. This is Eco-Trail, which is across the street from Yellow Trail. Yellow Trail is better maintained. To find Yellow Trail, look for the horse-riding.
This is a basic trail co-located near the paintball, wall-climbing, and zipline activities. We went hiking as a family here.
The trees were very beautiful and the air was so fresh. The trail gets more difficult as you continue down the pathway.
Be careful of the small bridge - it has holes in it and may be dangerous for some. We carefully crossed it.
Also, if it has been raining, the trail will be slippery. As you progress towards the end of the trail, it will become overgrown. We crossed the small creek and went another 50 meters, and then turned around.
All in all, it's a very beautiful and serene place to enjoy nature. Our kids went wall-climbing after hiking. The trail and these other activities are...
Read moreWe tried the Eco Trail with our kids, aged 5, 12, and 16, but we didn't manage to finish the whole route. 😂 We started near the entrance of Paintball Republic and soon encountered a rickety wooden and metal bridge, narrow, slippery trails, and a steep descent. While some paths were relatively wide, we decided to turn back when we reached the slippery descent towards the river.
The scenery was beautiful and serene, with huge pine trees and flowers in various colors. Surprisingly, there wasn't much bird sound to be heard.
The trail is more suitable for older kids, and recommend to wear long pants and suitable shoes since the plants grow close to the path, and the path can be quite slippery.
Parking is at the road side. But since we also did target shooting at Paintball Republic, they allowed us to...
