Kenny Roger’s Roasters Ortigas Extension — Restaurant in Cainta

I had a little family eat-out yesterday with my Father and younger brother at Kenny Rogers Roasters. 🍽️ It was Father’s treat, and everything was absolutely satisfying from start to finish.

We all began with their comforting Chicken Chowder Bread Bowl, which was rich, hearty, and perfect to share. For mains, my Father enjoyed the Honey Bourbon Ribs paired with steamed vegetables and creamed spinach, while my younger brother opted for the American BBQ with spinach mashed potato and java rice. I went for their classic Roasted Chicken, served with sour cream & chives potato along with corn and carrots — simple, flavorful, and just what I was craving.

Beyond the delicious food, I also appreciate that Kenny Rogers offers vegetarian options and healthier choices, making it a versatile spot for different preferences. The restaurant itself provides a comfortable dining experience with indoor seating, booth-style areas, and even an outdoor dining option for those who prefer a more open-air atmosphere.

We were waiting for our reserved table (reserved 2 hours prior to our arrival) for about 30 mins. After ordering it felt like every other table that arrived later than us had their food ready and served. To be honest I even recommended this restaurant to my family and friends as their food choices were excellent, it felt really bad to get this kind of service specially for an early birthday celebration.

We basically waited for approximately 2 hours for our food to be served, mind you the orders were not that much (2 pizzas, 2 group chicken meals, 1 pasta platter and a couple more pitchers of drink), even seated we were not given any utensils, plates, or even water.

This is by far the most ridiculous amount of time waiting in a restaurant and the service and management did even not step up to get things together, there were no compensations or such to alleviate the situation.

After this experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...

As a staple customer of Kenny's, I can say this is one of the best branches I've ever been. 24 hours dining (with alfresco), spacious parking (motorcycles and cars can also park behind), PWD-friendly. Entering the restaurant provides a clean (as the most important), and comfortable atmosphere. Food's being served on a timely manner, and every one in the staff are willing to assist to your every need. Dining here is not just a meal, but an experience. I had most of my family gatherings, celebrated here since they opened. We're quiet a handful, and they manage to accommodate us every single time. Kid- and elderly-friendly too. Even the guards will assist you as you go there. The menu can actually cater different age groups, for different diners, of different taste preference.
