Disappointing Valentine’s Experience at Brique
My friends and I visited Brique Banawa on Valentine’s Day, expecting a great dining experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be disappointing.
We arrived at 8 PM and were placed on the waiting list. After waiting for an hour and a half, we were finally about to be seated when they took our orders in advance, which seemed efficient at first. However, once inside, we were informed that some of our chosen dishes were unavailable, so we had to reorder. While this was inconvenient, we adjusted and confirmed our new orders.
The drinks arrived first, followed by a slow service of meals. Since we were a group of nine, we patiently waited. However, after serving only five out of the nine meals, the staff approached us again—this time to inform us that they had completely run out of food and could not serve the remaining four meals. We were left shocked and frustrated.
It was disappointing that the restaurant accepted our orders without properly checking their stock. Given the high volume of customers on Valentine’s Day, they should have managed their inventory better or, at the very least, informed us earlier so we could have made other arrangements. Instead, four of us had to share food with those who had already received their meals. Even if they had offered complimentary desserts or drinks, it would not have made up for the poor service and inconvenience.
To top it off, when we received the bill, there was an error in the total amount. The actual bill should have been around ₱2,500, but they only charged us ₱1,300. While this mistake was in our favor, we didn’t take advantage of it and immediately informed them of the discrepancy. It was concerning to see such a lack of attention to detail, not only in their service but also in handling payments.
This experience was truly frustrating, especially on a night that was meant to be special. I hope Brique Banawa takes this feedback seriously and improves its service to prevent this from...

The service crew was kind of unfocused and doesn't have any etiquettes. Our order wasn't completed when it was served. We waited for 10-15 minutes for they might be busy. When we made a follow-up, this crew said that it was not in the list. In fact, I confronted & corrected him for he repeated the orders. If we did not follow-up, surely, we will wait for hours.
Also, in the middle of my friends conversation whilst eating. He middled and directly said, "Dili pa mo mag bayad sa inyong bill?". And, he showed the bill. It would be okay if that crew asked nicely and more approachable unta but, he doesn't even know the word "excuse me".
After that, he approached us again and again about the bill when we paid and pabalik-balik. He wasn't even organize maong balik-balik na siya which we found so annoying and disturbing. Daghan siyag tabi and unnecessary actions.
The food is 3/5. Too expensive and not bad...

Fairly fast service considering it's a weekend and dinnertime. The staff took their time to answer questions, recap the orders, and give us updates. All courteous and polite.
Atmosphere is cozy and spacious. Good for families and with enough space to the next table. The place was full when we got there, but it didn't feel crowded. We were seated right away.
We saw other branches in the malls, but never tried it there; thought it's just a fancy-looking place with overpriced food. But glad to be proven wrong at...
