First tried their Sinigang weeks ago, when the Pochero was sold out already (around 8pm). Tonight, I came early and have ordered their pochero. The sinigang which I tried first (65 pesos, solo order) is a 9/10 given that I am a sinigang boy. You can clearly taste the home-cooked style, compared to fancy restaurants where they rush-cook the food they make. The pochero (65 pesos as well for solo order), on the other hand, was a 9/10 too. I tried the pochero at Gate 5 which is also great, but this pochero also has something amazing to offer. Although oily to look at, you can taste how the broth kicked into your tongue, bringing a specific kind of warmness, like that of a warm soup back home when my late lola used to cook when we apos visit her every weekend.
