I have been a regular customer both in Bistro and Robinsons Galleria Branch. I always dine with my mother and we almost always order the same food. We decided to dine in Banawa branch since its way nearer from our house in Cebu. Staff were always kind and accommodating in Galleria branch except for one and unfortunately, She even holds an important role in the restaurant. probably a manager or supervisor according to the server whom we asked. My mom and i noticed that she’s now assigned here and still has the same dull personality. For someone working in a service industry it was like she doesnt enjoy her job at all nor enjoy serving guests cause when guests ask her something, she always somehow ask her staff to do it instead even when staff are too busy to handle extra requests from other customers THUS THE DELAY OF THE REQUEST. this has happend to us both in Galleria branch and now in Banawa branch. We didnt mind to complain what happend in Galleria branch since we thought ATLEAST FOOD IS STILL GOOD AND MOST STAFF ARE KIND. But we were totally expecting better service in your Banawa branch but the same person was there and ruined the experience. Even rolled her eyes on us after sarcastically answering my mom’s question. We usually let incidents like this pass but it felt wrong letting this go again knowing some guests might experience the same thing too. I ordered lasagna, russian potato salad and their signature iced tea. The iced tea was good. The lasagna was reasonable for its price of PHP 120 but I totally would be willing pay more for a lasagna that has more meaty sauce than just melted cheese. The russsian potato salad’s potatoes were undercooked though. Yes, the potatoes were still tough. It was sad. Too bad, the dressing was alright. Another highlight of this meal was the server who seemed to lack training. He just kept putting orders on my table, as he was more focused on chatting with another waiter. When I billed out, he also just gave me the bill book. 😂
