Wildfire Asian Fusion offers a mix of Asian flavors with a variety of hits and misses. The Gyudon is by far the best I've had in Cebu City in recent memory, with tender beef and perfectly seasoned rice. The sushi rolls are a mix of favorites and some that didn't quite hit the mark for me, but this comes down to personal preference. Some rolls delighted with their creative combinations and flavors, while others fell short of expectations.
I've eaten there twice within a short interval, and the inconsistency was noticeable. The Yangnyeom Chicken, in particular, was wildly different during both experiences. The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff is generally friendly, though service can be inconsistent, especially during peak hours. The variety in the menu is impressive, showcasing the chef's creativity, but execution on certain items can vary, leading to an uneven dining experience.
Overall, Wildfire Asian Fusion is worth a visit for the standout dishes like the Gyudon and some sushi rolls. It's a decent spot for those looking to explore Asian fusion cuisine, but be prepared for a few inconsistencies. With some improvements in consistency, this place has the potential to be...
Read moreDined here and did not have a pleasant experience. Firstly, it was a Sunday but they were severely understaffed. Tables took so long to be cleaned, no one entertaining us when we have entered, did not provide plates and utensils, it was only after the main dishes have arrived we had to ask for it (??)
Food: Gyudon was tooooo sweet. Sushi were okay. Signature roll did not taste the same as the first time I ate it. But the worst pare is the soup. It was called a Thai Shrimp Soup and was sold for ₱180. Upon receiving it, it is literal a bowl of broth. No shrimp, no garnish, nothing in the soup. For 180 pesos, I get served with a bowl of broth with no shrimp or nothing? With barely any thai or shrimp flavor even. No tanginess no spicness. I wouldn’t even pay ₱100 considering the size and the taste 😭. Like what is that 😭. It wasn’t even hot when it was served. So disappointing. Bare minimum would be to add few pieces of shrimp for that price and garnish it please because what is that
Atmosphere was so-so. It was very difficult to ask for a waiter when we needed something because they...
Read moreI recently visited Wildfire Asian fusion restaurant and had a mixed experience. The standout dish was the poke bowl, featuring a fresh and vibrant combination of salmon, tuna, avocado, and mango—each ingredient perfectly complemented the others, creating a delightful burst of flavors. The Agetofu was also impressive, with a satisfyingly crispy exterior and a soft, silky interior that melted in your mouth.
Unfortunately, the Ebi ramen didn't quite live up to expectations. The dish was heavy on noodles and light on broth, which detracted from the overall balance. Additionally, the ebi tempura became soggy after sitting in the broth, losing the crisp texture that makes it so enjoyable.
Service was adequate, with the staff being attentive enough, and the serving time was just right—not too slow, not too rushed. Overall, while there were some hits and misses, the poke bowl and agetofu are worth a try if you...
