Since 2023, one can notice the size of their chickenjoy that was relatively smaller than other fastfood chains. This issue was all over social media platforms that I thought might just be pure coincidence not until I encountered the same issue this month. In this Jollibee branch, I was asked by one staff if I could take a moment to do some survey. Since I wasn't planning on leaving immediately right after eating, I agreed and scanned the QR code. I honestly gave a feedback on the chickenjoy size that I ordered and wrote how sad it was that the chicken is small in size. After completing the survey, the staff told me they'll be back to give me a free vanilla ice cream in exchange for the survey. Not long after, the manager came to our table and confronted me with the feedback I gave which surprised me because I thought that was an anonymous survey. She asked me if I requested a part and if not I should have asked her or some staff to exchange it with what I like. I honestly told her that it was not the part that I was complaining for but it was the size. She then told me that I could request for another chicken and this is true to all branch (as I clarified). I thanked her for explaining and she thanked me back for being honest of the review. But my take is, shouldn't all customers deserve the optimal size or the size that "chickenjoy" was at its prime? Should it be the customer's obligation to ask or request for a "good" part? If this is about inflation, I wonder how the fastfood competitors were able to maintain the size. Personally, since I love the taste of their fried chicken I am willing to pay the right price for the quality that made...
Read moreStaffs are not too lively to cater customers. When we asked if the breakfast is available they are hesitant to answer it. It's 5:05am already so we expected that breakfast was ready to dig in. They roll out the breakfast menu and I'm choosing the pancake, cashier told me that it take 10mins and there no follow up questions like are you willing to wait for that long? It sounds like they didn't want to cater us while we are two customers at that time. So here I choose the chicken joy breakfast and no other options only thigh part which understandable. I want to add up a mango pie they said 10mins again. I'm willing to wait as long as it's not beyond but here we come no initiative at all. So I ordered a burger with cheese ala carte but I got no cheese on my burger. I set aside the burger because I'll eat it later on that's why I didn't complain during my stay eating the chicken breakfast. So sad that's near in my house but encountered this kind of misbehaving staffs. This is not the first time though because I used to it this restaurant and got upset most of the time because of the bad service. Service crew was good. But cashiers and guard are not too...
Read morePoor experience at this store because of the security guard who did not move an inch to help me with my purchase. Because I did not have a face shield (which is honestly a very inconvenient policy and truly does not make sense when diners remove masks and shields when eating) he denied me entry. I asked him if he can help me get my order done from outside but he refused and sternly told me it is store policy. The store was empty inside and there was available staff. I was so disappointed that he could not try to help me out as a customer. When I came back with a face shield, he let me in but had condescending and rude remarks. I informed the manager Ryan of this experience and he apologized and agreed that the guard could have asked someone inside to help me with my purchase. Please train your security guards to show the same level of customer service that you expect from your staff. The beginning of the experience happens at the door and customers like myself expect the same...
