Date: October 29,2025 Time: Around 8:00 PM Location:sb rob galleria cebu I visited the store around 8:00 PM and placed an order for a Venti Caramel Macchiato (Iced) and a Tall Brewed Coffee. The cashier, wearing a green apron, informed me that I would need to wait approximately five (5) minutes for the brewed coffee and i said yes. However, another barista named Allysa if im not mistaken who was wearing a black apron (indicating that she is a certified barista), stepped in and mentioned that the store could no longer serve brewed coffee because they had run out of coffee beans. She showed me the Cambro container and explained that there was no remaining backup supply for brewed coffee. They suggested to order a Hot Americano instead. Since I needed coffee and only had ₱125 left in my Starbucks app balance—an amount sufficient only for brewed coffee,I felt compelled to purchase the Americano even though it was not my original choice. I would like to seek clarification on the following: Is it possible that the store completely ran out of beans for brewed coffee, or did they only run out of the prepared brewed coffee for the evening? I also noticed after leaving the store that the baristas appeared to be laughing together, which made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. If necessary, you may review the CCTV footage from that time to verify my concern. I fully understand that the staff may have been tired since it was already late in the day, but I hope this feedback helps improve communication and customer service consistency, especially for customers who prefer more affordable beverage options such as brewed coffee. And allysa to be more friendly because she is not building connection to customer. Im sorry if i cant afford your americano coffee, I thought i can drink my favorite brewed in your galleria cebu branch. Thank you for taking the time to look into...
Read moreI recently visited Starbucks and decided to try something new—an Ube Crepe Cake paired with a Pure Matcha drink.
The Ube Crepe Cake was a delightful treat. The layers of soft crepes were light and delicate, complemented by the rich, sweet, and slightly earthy flavor of ube. It wasn’t too overwhelming, making it the perfect dessert for anyone who enjoys subtle sweetness without it being too heavy. The texture was smooth, and each bite felt indulgent, yet refreshing.
As for the Pure Matcha, it didn’t disappoint. The matcha flavor was strong and earthy, just as expected. The drink was smooth and refreshing, with a slightly bitter undertone that complemented the sweetness of the Ube Crepe Cake. It was a great balance, making it the ideal pairing.
Overall, Starbucks delivered on both fronts. The Ube Crepe Cake was a unique twist on traditional cakes, and the Pure Matcha was a perfect drink to enjoy with it. If you’re looking for a satisfying and flavorful treat, I’d definitely recommend giving...
Read moreInstant plus point to this branch for opening early (they open at 8:00 am). It's situated near the malls' main entrance so its a convenient place to wait for the mall to open. I love the high, open industrial ceiling and heavily wooden interiors. The mural perfectly frames the counter and the wooden wall art looks gorgeous. I like how the space feels spacious despite its small area. Also no more acrylic barriers like most branches, yey!
The baristas were friendly, got my order out before my bum could have warmed my seat. I had Green Tea Latte and Four Mushroom with Emmental. The bread on my sandwich was a bit on the tough side but thats a bit expected. It does taste really great and very savory and...
