O Delices: The Best Kept Secret in Moalboal I stumbled upon O Delices and was immediately hooked. My first bite of their bacon and egg sandwich was a revelation—it was hands down the best sandwich I've had on the island. The next morning, I returned for their eggs Benedict, which was equally delightful. For lunch, I couldn't resist going back for a chocolate au pain, a classic ham and cheese, and a slice of their incredible apple pie. While my overall impression was a 7/10 by stateside standards, the value here is an astounding 11/10. This place is, without a doubt, the best-kept secret in the islands. If you find yourself in Moalboal, you absolutely must stop in and say hello to the fantastic chefs. The quality of their ingredients, from the cheeses to the impressive wine selection, must be incredibly difficult to source on the islands. Although I'd rate it a 7/10 back home, here in Moalboal, I'm giving O Delices my first-ever 10/10, with a value rating that's simply beyond impossible. Their fresh bread and staggering array of dessert options only add to the incredible experience. O Delices is an amazing stop, and I can't recommend it enough. I took one last trip here before I headed out of town and I went ahead and tried the spaghetti bolognese. The sauce was pretty traditional. It wasn't too sweet and it certainly wasn't overly seasoned. It was a good blend of simple spaghetti. Not 100% sure if the beef was beef or pork or some other meat but it was ground meat the way it's supposed to be. It had the texture of beef so that's all I really care about. It was an excellent plate of spaghetti and the overall impression I had was it was as good as any homemade spaghetti you're likely to find in your average family's home. Certainly better than any canned spaghetti. If I do return, I plan on trying the vegetarian apple sandwich. It sounds too...

While serving my breakfast, the waiter accidentally dropped my eggs Benedict into my lap. Accidents happen, and I wasn’t upset—he apologized several times, and I went to clean up in the restroom. However, it’s in moments like these that you see how well a place is truly managed.
When I returned, my seat was still dirty, the plate with the remains of my meal was still on the table, and I wasn’t offered any new utensils or replacement dish. Despite the apologies, there was no real effort to fix the situation—no compensation offered, not even a drink or dessert on the house. No one from the staff followed up or showed further concern. Later, when we ordered something sweet, everything was fully charged without comment.
This café seems to have high ambitions—reflected in both its ratings and prices—but sadly fails where it matters most: in how it treats its guests. A real missed opportunity to show professionalism and...
Read moreI have been seeing this cafe whenever I visit Moalboal but didn't get the chance to try. So glad I did last week!
We went here for a quick bite and I decided to try their Apple Pie, and OMGGG it's so good! IDK where else I could get this here in the city. I am literally obsessed with it. Finished the whole slice in less than 5 minutes 🥲 It's a solid 10/10!!
As for their Matcha, it's good but kinda pricey. Though, I requested for extra shot of vanilla for ₱50. I'll give it 7/10.
Their Vanilla Latte, Iced Chocolate and Almond Croissant also taste good! Taste similar to popular coffee chains I have been to. 8/10 for both!
The place is kinda small and gets packed with tourists from time to time. We had to leave immediately after finishing our meal to give space for others coming by.
Overall, this is a nice cafe with lots of pastries to choose from. Will definitely be back for the...
