Bigby's — Restaurant in Davao City

Terrible food and service! We came in for lunch on a Saturday. Couldn’t get anyone to take our order and when we did the food was brought out individually over the course of 45 min. Some of our party had finished before others were even served and it wasn't even busy. The burger was stone cold and we sent it back to the kitchen. When it came back it had obviously just been reheated and was bland and disgusting. The Caesar salad was missing the chicken that we ordered and then we had to wait an extra 20 mins whilst this was cooked. The poached egg was cold, like it had just come out of the fridge. The meatballs were ok although a little tasteless. We made a complaint but didn't even get an apology. I see others have experienced similar problems so i guess management have done nothing to correct these issues. Save your money and spend it next door at Shakeys where the food and service...

The Presidential Platter was expensive and disappointing. My family ordered it since on the picture and in their menu it looked full to the brim.

But it came lacking for a ₱1200+ platter. It doesn't even make you full, the rice can accommodate only 2 people. You have to add-in rice order.

It's not a family food platter. It's a disappointing tray, flattened to look full; disappointing just like the current government administration, maybe that's why they called it Presidential Platter.

Even the fried shrimps suck since they weren't skin-peeled. When you eat it, you have to remove the skin first. Taking time to peel. Why does the tempura have be served with skin. Disappointing again.

The tap water served also tastes like pure chemical. At least serve something distilled or mineral.

Never want to go back there again.

I was recently at Bigbys Restaurant in Davao City, Philippines, and I was very disappointed with my experience. We ordered belly Buster, and when I took a bite of the rice, I found a cockroach in it. I immediately showed the cockroach to the waiter, and he apologized profusely. He offered to change the rice, but I declined. I was too disgusted to continue eating.

The waiter also offered to let me take out the meat but I didn't want to eat anything that had been cooked in the same rice that had the cockroach in it. I cancelled the order and only pay for the pizza.

I was very disappointed with Bigbys Restaurant. I expected a higher standard of cleanliness and food safety. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
