Dusit Gourmet, Dusit Thani Residence Davao — Restaurant in Davao City

Food was so-so. The place looks really gloomy and unwelcoming, it looks like an abandoned property for some reason to how dark the place was. Customer service was a -0, paid for my food using InstaPay, the transaction was completed on my end, money was deducted from my wallet and I even received a confirmation email for it. But they claimed they didn't receive my transaction and the payment didn't go through, so I have to pay twice for what I paid. They claimed that the first transaction's money will surely be sent back to my wallet, and if not, I shall give them a call about it. Talk about the hassle of reaching out and waiting in case the money will not be back, all will fall to the customer. They don't take liability and responsibility for this and just shrug off their shoulder about it.

Update for this: I called them 2 days after as I wanna give them time to process my transaction concern however 2 days passed by and I received NO UPDATES from them. Kudos for answering my call quickly they asked for the details, my name and my number and told me they will call back to give me updates.

Third day, the day's about to end and I received no update AGAIN from them, so I made a call AGAIN and I have to reiterate AGAIN my concern, my name and number and with the same script that they will call me AGAIN FOR ANY UPDATE

Fourth and fifth day, same thing happened no updates and I have to keep calling them every single day just to ask for updates about it. And finally for the sixth day I called again cause they CLEARLY NEVER TAKE INITIATIVE TO CALL FOR UPDATES, and they finally said that my money return transaction is currently in process and it would take 10-15 days for it.

What's the freaking use of asking your customer's contact information when you don't take initiative to update them about a transaction issue which in the first place was your fault, and even claiming that you will be giving BACK a call when I heard nothing from you. Your customer service was such a failure, to think Dusit was considered as a 5...

The atmosphere is excellent (5/5). There are tables outside with comfortable chairs, which is perfect if you don’t like sitting inside. They also have free Wi-Fi, which is a nice bonus.

The service is very good (5/5). The staff is polite and quick.

The food and drinks are decent (4/5). They are not super tasty, but still good enough to enjoy. When I visited, all the food items (cakes, breads, etc.) were 50% off, which was a great surprise and made the experience even better.
