WARNING! So it is my wife's birthday. She is excited and invites a few friends. Our friends have little girls and so do we. Since we were paying for the meal we looked for a buffet that was not so expensive and didn't charge for kids under 5 since even our 5 year old will only eat a few bites of anything when we go out.
My wife asked the manager if we would be charged for the children because if they were going to charge us we would keep looking for another restaurant. The manager said if the children eat from the adults plate we would not be charged. So we sat down and began to eat. Shortly after we sat down the manager began staring our way as if we were going to steal the table. Then she roamed over to our table and said something in the native tongue of which I don't speak. Even though I don't speak the language I have seen the body language many times before. I knew she was up to something.
My wife and our guess were not aware of what was to come. Being from America, I wasn't keen on eating in this restaurant for a few reasons anyway. I will attempt to speak for most Americans when saying that we don't like food displayed without cough guards and heated well. This food had neither.
Being that I am not fond of Filipino food for the most part, I will only speak to my taste. There were only a few items I could eat a little of but being that it was cold and not covered from the public breathing or coughing on, I wasn't excited in the first place at the thought of eating here but it is my wife's birthday after all so I put up with it for that reason.
By the time we finished eating and my wife asked for the bill (I don't know why Filipino restaurants don't look to see when you are finished eating and offer you the bill) but that is something I have a problem with in general here in the Philippines. Anyway, when my wife received the bill she was surprised that we were charged for half price for the three year old, 4 year old and 5 year old that eat a few bits of desserts only after we were assured they would not be included in the bill. Arguments went on for a few minutes in Filipino language and for that reason and the fact that I suggested we didn't go to this restaurant in the first place, I didn't say anything.
Afterwards is when I found out that management changed up after we had eaten and decided to charge for the three children.
I know this is a long review but I am happy my wife has decided never to return to this restaurant. It is not a place for Americans in the first place. If you don't mind paying $7 for cold, bland, unprotected food and an unpredictable bill,...

Read moreThe place is abundant!
I went here for breakfast after I joined a fun run in Victoria Plaza, and as you know I was extremely famished and feel like I could eat a buffet and saw the place on facebook reels and decided to eat here.
The resto feels really homey and spacious (not like most buffet restos where the place feels cramped).
They accept a wide variety of payment options from cash, credit, gcash/maya and qr.
The food was delicious! Classic Filipino breakfast! Chorizo, Tocino, Bangus, Sinangag and Eggs! Not only that but they also have an egg and puto bumbong station! You can request for your eggs to be cooked in a certain way, like omelette and sunny side-ups!
For dessert was kakanins and fruits!
Only gripe was they could put and add more dishes on their breakfast menu, as I was really craving for some corned beef at that time...
Overall, a good place to dine if you're looking for an abundant buffet classic filipino fiesta for breakfast,...
