We had the pleasure of dining at Surf & Turf Restaurant for the first time on Wednesday, September 4th, and we were so blown away by the amazing food and service that we just had to come back again on Saturday, September 7th—this time, with our family so they could enjoy it as well! Each visit was nothing short of incredible.
The baby back ribs were tender and flavorful, with the meat falling right off the bone. I even managed to finish 700g of it with no problem—it's that good! The crispy pata was perfectly crunchy on the outside while staying juicy and tender inside, and the short ribs were equally mouthwatering.
The shrimp sinigang soup stole the show, packed with fresh shrimp and vegetables, delivering that perfect balance of sourness that we all loved. Every dish we ordered was a hit, including the crispy fried calamari and the garlic shrimp, which quickly became family favorites.
The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, combined with excellent service, made both of our visits truly special. It was a joy to share this experience with our family and to enjoy such high-quality food together.

Read moreWent for lunch. There are some items at fixed price but all the good stuff is sold by weight from a list times whatever the price is. This may work for larger groups but fails miserably if it's dinner for two. Market pricing seems to work in places like Dampa (Manila) but here it was way too hard to figure out and staff were not helpful with the calculus lesson. So... nope to the good stuff. I go to a restaurant for the food and experience, not confusion and a math lesson. I say this as a foreigner who doesn't care what the price is.
Now, the food: fresh seafood and steak was just too hard to figure out so we didn't get any. The food we did order was disappointing... The calamari was tasteless and came with a small serving of tasteless mayo. The baby back ribs tasted stale and reheated. The tiny dipping sauce with them was good.
Dining here was too hard to figure out, the food was tasteless, and the whole experience was not worth the headache. The concept needs to be reworked to make it easy to order with no surprises. Get your fresh seafood from the dock, the night market, or just go find yummy street...
