Pasta-tively Delicious! We were starving and craving something colossal yet wholesome. What’s bigger than a dinosaur? What’s healthier than going vegan? We decided were going to The Vegan Dinosaur! This cozy corner spot is small but mighty, like a perfectly al dente pasta. Our order took a while to arrive because they were busy satisfying the hungry dinosaurs with some orders from food delivery services. No hard feelings, it was just our luck to be there at that saucy moment. Pre-ordering seems like a wise choice. The Jalapeño Quesadilla was a hearty portion, and the Caesar Salad was a flavor-packed masterpiece! The textures and tastes were a delightful symphony. But that Walnut and Mushroom Bolognese! A surprising tangy twist with earthy mushrooms, crunchy walnuts, and fresh basil. It was like discovering a hidden pasta paradise! The Dark Chocolate Brownie earned its place in the book of life because it was true and honest to its name. The food? We swear, it could fool even the pickiest T-Rex thinking there was meat. Overall, The Vegan Dinosaur is a must-try for plant-powered pals. Their dishes are as satisfying as a big bowl of comfort food. It was all vegan - and we ate like a dinosaur.

I had a wonderful experience at Vegan Dinosaur in Davao City. I have an allergy to sesame seeds, and when I communicated this to the staff, I was truly impressed by how seriously they took it. Right in front of me, they held a team meeting to discuss the situation, ensuring everyone—from staff to management to ownership—understood the importance of handling allergies with care. What stood out most was how they turned this into a teaching moment for their team, focusing on prevention and making sure such issues don’t reoccur. That level of leadership and responsibility is rare to see. Personally, I believe every restaurant should proactively ask guests about food allergies, and it was refreshing to see how dedicated this team was to creating a safe and thoughtful dining experience. On top of that, the food was excellent—fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with love. The hospitality here goes above and beyond; you can feel that they are unreasonable about their standards in the best way possible. Special thanks to Saraha and Dan for their leadership and for setting such a great example.

I visited The Vegan Dinosaur, to get a healthy meal and for sure it did! This restaurant had so much food options, but despite so many options their menu was perfectly organized and even had some symbols indicating soy-free, nut-free and etc. And all the ingredients were listed which was perfect. The pastas were al dente and full of the fresh flavors. The wraps were full of vegetables, although I would have asked for more sauce cause I was bit overloaded with all the greens and veggies. And the quesadillas, had a cool healthy twist, they were crunchy and felt like I was eating nacho chips, but it was healthy. All in all, the meals were prepared quick and fresh. If you are looking for a hearty meal, I could vouch that these vegetarian meals can definitely make you full. Though, the space is small, but it was clean and cozy. Overall, I would rate my dining experience here a 4.7/5.
