Baristro DVO — Restaurant in Davao City

When we got there around 3pm on a saturday, the place was empty which was a bit surprising bexause last time we drove by the place, it was packed! In terms of the overall look of the place, it was very aesthetic! A nice place to take pictures for your Instagram page.

Anyway, when we began looking at the menu, the staff was very helpful in terms of telling us what was best to order if we liked a hot or cold beverage.

I ordered the bailey's, while my bf got the osmanthus latte. I liked my drink as it had a bit of a kick to it. When I tried my bf's drink, it had a taste that was quite refreshing in my opinion. It wasn't anything that I've ever tasted before. We also ordered the pork tenderloin meal which was tender. It tasted a lot like the pepper steak from jollibee which was nice.

Pristine. Tranquil. Two bang-up words upon entry. If you have noticed Apple-device users here will have difficulty hooking up to this coffee shop’s wifi network. The cashier was kind enough to restart their connection. Order took a while to serve. The interior design has an industrial feel but the chairs are comfortable enough for long hours of sitting and noise doesn’t travel as much so this place is conducive for studying. However their drinks could be so much better. I haven’t tasted a single drink here that tastes good (been here twice) and so does all the people I know.

I appreciate that the barista let me know that their matcha is bitter when I ordered their latte but that also means they already know they need to improve, here’s to hoping they’re already...
