Batu Café - Marfori — Restaurant in Davao City

The place is really cool and ideal for Instagramable photos. With all the unique choice of designs, feature and style from the wall decor and even the tables and chairs that have a touch of somewhat medieval and antique atmosphere, it's nice :) Though it's quite warm lg tlga 😂 walang aircon Tumutulo tlga pawis namin habang kumakain HAHA but They also have rooms good for meetings :) We visited the said cafe to have our lunch meeting together with my fellow churchmates. We reserved one room and may aircon nman and whiteboard para masulatan :) About sa food, Masarap nman though it's kinda pricey given that it's a cafe :) Masarap nyun kasi gutom na tlga kami 😂 I suggest that you'll really reserve in advance especially if you'll go there with a lot of company and have your lunch. Medjo natagalan kasi ang pagserve sa aming foods and given we've reserved it in advance hahaha Gutom na msyadoooo. It's not perfect but overall, It was nice and fun...

Highly hoppin' bakery and eatery attached to a bar. Not sure what it's like in the daytime, but it was bumpin' when I arrived hungry for a late dinner after a delayed flight. Menu offers a good selection of items to appeal to both Philippino and Western tastes, and somebody in the kitchen or management/ownership has Vietnamese experience as they offer several Vietnamese-inspired dishes that are very respectable!

Popcorn shrimp were respectable - not overly greasy, a nice light batter and meaty pieces of shrimp (rather than miniature shrimp). Served with mayo and a vaguely spiced ketchup. Vietnamese chicken was redolent of lemongrass and basil along with a very light spice heat. Served over a perfect serving of fried rice that is equally tasty.

Bottle service from the bar is available but no cocktails. Beer, wine, and sodas/juices. Highly...

Worst coffee shop i have been to... They let us wait for an hour only to find out the our order is not available. I followed up on our order and told the waiter that it has been an hour since he took our order. He just told me that it hasn't been an hour yet so we checked and it turned out that we've been waiting for 45mins. Still that's unacceptable. Also, one of the waitress told me that we are not the only customers. What the f*? Great customer service. This will be the last time we will dine here. Take note, we are frequent customers here and yet they treat us this way. Also, we rented one of their VIP rooms, It's Very disappointing that they treat "VIP" like this. I suggest you go somewhere else, there are a lot of coffees shops in Davao that provides better...
