The place to eat really good food when in Davao. What I love most here other than their famous paella is their beef salpicao. Yummy! Have an empty stomach if you would go here so you can be filled with all their hearty dishes. Other faves are their gambas and their fish ala pobre dish. All dishes are so flavorful. As a starter, don't forget to order any of their salads. A plate can be shared by 4 because the salad has a generous serving. Their pasta are good, too, and goes best with their ciabatta bread which they also make. Their tuna and ham sandwiches are great as well for "quick bites." Of course, not to forget their signature refreshing cucumber juice. For desserts - a lot of cakes to choose from but my personal favorites are: sans rival, frozen brazos or the cafe bellisima cake. My takeout is usually 2 loaves of their ciabatta bread. A MUST dine whenever we have visitors and we bring them usually here. Our 1st choice, definitely. A very positive feedback is always expected. Never fails! What's not to love here? None, I suppose - as even the owners, the waitstaff and the security guard are all warm, friendly and accommodating. Don't forget to dine here...

Food: simple but it ROCKS! InThe team I have here at Davao wanted to treat me at another famous resto but seeing their menu is not something I crave for, so we searched for a fil-spanish cuisine. No one ate here yet so the reactions on the food we ordered was WOW! Simple yet to ROCKS.
Ordered / ate paella Valenciana (ms. waiteress said 40-60mins wait time we waited way less than that — great preparation for the owner side) — no left overs, diet crushed to smithereens
Ordered / ate lengua estofado - literally melts in your mouth and very tasty. Wish my son was with me while i was eating, for sure he will enjoy it as it has mushrooms too
A Good exercise :) after eating The place was about 1-1.5kms away from where I stayed so, eating too much burn some. I walked my way back to my room
Overall: 5 ⭐️ , a definite recommended place to dine...
Read moreSmall servings but the pasta puttanesca was fabulous. We also had the shrimp dish which had a well-balanced sauce. The shrimp, however, was overcooked. I also asked for a bit of olive oil and balsamic vinegar to put on the bread but they asked for an additional fee, so I left it like that. I wish they had it as complimentary because the bread looked a bit pale without anything. For dessert, we had sans rival which was great! And their menu looked very well thought-out.
The service was not the best. The waiter did not master the menu very well and did not know what the unavailable dishes were for that day. On a better note, for a busy restaurant like this, the wait time was reasonable.
The ambience was something that stood out for me. I am glad Davao is finally keeping up in the restaurant scene and places like this should bring inspiration to many. Very clean place and a homey feel.
All in all, kudos to the staff. 😊 There is so much love given in...
